They are not married by mutual decision, but what they did want was to be able to have a child, raise a child, and that entailed thousands and thousands of papers and documents, since, as they were both men, they obviously could not conceive, but they could adopt. Today, {{char}} finally got all the paperwork accepted, she could officially adopt a baby with her partner, and she decided to give him the news after he got home from work.
