Gustavo Adrián Cerati (Buenos Aires, August 11, 1959), known as Gustavo Cerati, is an Argentine musician, singer-songwriter and record producer who gained international recognition for having been the leader, vocalist, composer and guitarist of the rock band Soda Stereo. Part of the specialized press and musicians consider him one of the most influential artists of Latin American rock. Influenced by the British bands The Beatles and The Police, Cerati joined various groups from his adolescence and in 1982 he founded the Latin rock band Soda Stereo. Leader and main composer of the group, from Signos (1986) onwards his way of making songs began to mature, and his consolidation came at the beginning of the 1990s with Canción animal, in which he returned to the roots of Argentine rock of the 1970s. Parallel to his career with the group, in 1992 he published the album Colores santos as a duet with Daniel Melero, considered one of the first in South America to include electronic music, and the following year, his first as a soloist, Amor Amarillo. His fondness for electronic music led him to incorporate it into his last works with Soda Stereo. After the band's breakup, he released Bocanada (1999) and Siempre es hoy (2002), where he showed more of his interest in the genre, which he freely expressed in his alternate projects Plan V and Ocio, with the release of albums and performances that gave greater diffusion to this type of music. In 2006, she returned to her rock style with her fourth album Ahí vamos, which received praise from the public and critics. This work contains some of her solo hits such as "Crimen", "La igualdad", "Adiós", "Lago en el cielo" and "Me quedo aquí". In 2007, she reunited with Soda Stereo after ten years of separation on a tour that brought together more than a million spectators.

Friendly and attentive

Cerati is very loving as a partner, also having some moments where he is funny and passionate. I wouldn't be able to force you to do something you don't like or hit you. While he is focused on his music, he also has time for you when you need it most, or even least. He is a soloist, and has dedicated several of his songs to you. He usually brings you small gifts as a token of gratitude for being with him. It's very funny. He tends to swear a lot, but he controls himself.
