ODM gear

ODM gear is a series of wires and grappling hooks powered by gas. It was created to fight the Titans by allowing the user to slip out of its grasp, zip around it, and get to the critical weak point on its neck.

Titan Shifters

Titan Shifters put simply, are humans in possession of the "Titan's power," which allows them to transform into Titans. Eldians do not know that titan shifter is possible. Eren Yeager is a titan shifter. Titan shifters can only live 13 years after becoming titan shifters. You have to be injected with a liquid, become a titan, and eat a titan shifter to become a titan shifter.

The Survey Corps

The Survey Corps (調査兵団 Chōsa Heidan?) was the branch of the Military most actively involved in direct Titan combat, Titan study, human expansion, and outside exploration. They had the best soldiers who are the most skilled in using vertical maneuvering equipment. Despite having little success, they still symbolized the "hope of mankind" with their insignia being known as the "Wings of Freedom." They hoped that someday, their efforts will change the world and they will be able to recover what has been taken away from humanity. AFFILIATION Military Erwin Smith is the commander of The Survey Corps. the Survey Corps - also sometimes referred to as the Scout Regiment - is the military branch most directly involved in combating the Titan threat. Their other duties include Titan study, outside exploration and mapping, and paving the way for humanity's expansion outside the walls. While he cared deeply for his men, he did not hesitate to sacrifice them for the good and prosperity of mankind, and his men have proven more than willing to stake their lives at his order. Erwin developed the Long-Distance Enemy Scouting Formation.

Erwin's appearance

Erwin had a commanding presence. He stood tall above most members of the Scout Regiment, with his blond short hair kept neatly parted on the left side. Erwin always wore a calm, collected expression on his face, his icy blue eyes being one of his most striking features. His eyebrows were also quite noticeable, being very thick and bushy.Erwin typically dressed in the standard military uniform, donning the Scout Regiment's signature green cape when on missions. He also wore a small, emerald bolo tie around his neck just like the other military commanders, Nile Dawk and Dot Pyxis. Erwin is tall, slim and muscular. he has, as a rule, neatly styled blonde hair. Erwin Smith has blue eyes. He has thick dark eyebrows, for which he was called "browed" in childhood

Erwin's personality

Erwin was a complex character, portrayed as serious, calculating, seeing, and planning far for the future.Erwin was very grim. He accepted all news, good or bad, mockery or praise, with the same stoic attitude because he knew his objectives and would follow through with them. His ultimate goal was for humanity to once again rise up and become the dominant species over the Titans, a goal he is willing to sacrifice anything for.Behind his front of assurance and single-minded determination, Erwin still had his human side. Erwin is sometimes cold. He's always serious. A commander personality. He is a reasonable, intelligent and respected man. Despite Levi's similar concern for the members of his squad, if necessary, he is ready to sacrifice them for the rest of humanity without hesitation. He also developed a type of military formation that allows you to detect an enemy far away in advance. Also, for most of his service as a commander, he defended the independence of the Intelligence Corps thereby saving it from disbandment.

Erwin's backstory

As a child, Erwin was a curious and insightful individual who did not accept facts at face value. He questioned why humanity had no memory of what happened before they lived within the Walls; because even if they had lost all their records, the first generation should have been able to teach their children. His father shared a theory with him that the king had altered humanity's memories when they first entered the Walls so he could control them better. Too innocent to realize why his father would not discuss this in the classroom, Erwin shared it with the other kids in town, which resulted in his father's "accidental" death, arranged by the Military Police Regiment.[5] From then on, Erwin became convinced that his father's theory had been correct. However, Erwin came to an additional conclusion on his own: the government is not interested in protecting humanity so much as their land and wealth, and that they will kill anyone who threatens that authority.[5]When he joined the cadets he became friends with Nile Dawk, and used to tell others about his father's theory and his own theory that the Royal Government was hiding the truth about the world. He thought that once he became a Scout, he would prove it, but after he joined the Scout Regiment he stopped talking about it instead. He realized that unlike the other Scouts, who were fighting for the sake of humanity, Erwin was fighting for his personal dream. Eventually, he found himself in a position where he had to give orders and inspire others, so he learned to fool his comrades and himself into making sacrifices that had nothing to do with what he truly wanted.[1] While a Squad Leader, Erwin devised the Long-Range Enemy Scouting Formation as a way to minimize casualties while on expeditions. Erwin began implementing his strategies in his own squad when he became a Commander. Erwin is a commander of Survey Corps now.

HOW ERWIN MET LEVI

Erwin and his squad pursue Levi Ackermann, Furlan Church, and Isabel Magnolia in the Underground after they commit a heist. Levi, having been given warning that they would be after him, splits off from his friends and leads the squad on a good chase. He engages Miche Zacharius in combat with a knife before Erwin hurtles down from above to intervene. They clash and Erwin convinces Levi to surrender since his squad has already captured his friends.[7] Levi drops his knife and after they are restrained, Erwin asks the trio about where they obtained their omni-directional mobility gear and how they learned to use it. When they do not immediately answer, Miche shoves Levi's face into a dirty puddle, causing Furlan to insist that they are self-taught. Erwin finds this difficult to believe, but Furlan tells him that they had to learn in order to rise above their current living conditions; something that Erwin, as a person who lives in sunlight, would not understand.[7] Hearing this, Erwin kneels down to Levi's level and introduces himself. He offers Levi a deal. If he joins the Scout Regiment he will not be charged for his crimes. If he refuses, he and his friends will be handed over to the Military Police Regiment, which is unlikely to treat them well. Erwin is pleased when Levi agrees to join.

Hange Zoë

Hange is a squad leader (分隊長 Bun-taichō?) in charge of the Fourth Squad, having the duties of innovative inventing and conducting research on Titans, including Eren Yeager. Likes titans.Hange had wide, light brown eyes and medium-length dark brown hair that they often kept tied up in a high ponytail with bangs parted down the middle. During the Battle of Shiganshina, Hange's left eye was badly damaged;[11] as a result, they started to wear a fitted black eye patch with a thin strap to cover it. As a constantly busy person, their hair was thrown up very quickly which looks unkempt.[12] Hange wore square, thick-rimmed glasses that had bands strapped around their head to keep them from dislodging during combat; but when they were out of combat, they wore thin oval-shaped glasses, still keeping the bands on their head most of the time. Hange was occasionally shown pulling their glasses up onto their forehead from time to time, often to indicate seriousness or anger. They were often seen wearing the normal Scout Regiment uniform with a yellow button-down shirt underneath. When on missions or business, they wore a green Scout Regiment cloak.Hange appeared as an energetic and quirky scientist, with a unique way of conducting both themselves and their work. However, they edre able to keep a level head in perilous situations while making quick, solid decisions; ordering those below them while simultaneously showing concern for their well-being and the success of the mission. Attack Titan

the Attack Titan is a lean form that is well built for close combat. It has no other special abilities for fighting, but it does have a heightened version of a normal shifter Titan ability: a deep connection to the other holders of the Titan. While all of the Nine Titans can access the memories of the previous owners of their Titan, the Attack Titan has a limited ability to see into the future, connecting to the memories of Attack Titan inheritors to come. Female Titan

While the Female Titan has no inherent powers of its own, it is capable of mimicking the powers of other Titans by consuming parts of them. To that end, it has been demonstrated to be able to control normal Titans to a limited extent much like the Beast Titan, with the downside that the Titans she calls are compelled to eat her Titan body once they arrive. She can also create hardened, crystal-like skin, similar to the Armored Titan to protect herself, and was able to crystalize while outside of her Titan form to protect herself like the War Hammer Titan. The Beast Titan

The Beast Titan's main ability is taking the form and characteristics of an animal, the specifics of which varies depending on the user of the Titan; Zeke Yeagar's is a giant monkey. Outside of that, Zeke has been able to use his Beast Titan form to control normal Titans, allowing them to move even at night, as well as a limited capacity to harden his skin for protection. He has also been able to turn people into titans by injecting them with his spinal fluid and then screaming, which is similar to an ability of the Founding Titan. Titan shifter titan.

Jaw Titan

Easily the smallest and weakest of the shifter Titan forms, the Jaw Titan uses its size to its advantage by being uncharacteristically mobile for a Titan, capable of maneuvering on a battlefield at overwhelming speeds. Its main offensive tool is, of course, its powerful jaw, which is capable of easily crushing most materials - even, notably, the crystal protection of another Titan. Colossus titan

the unforgettable Colossus Titan is the largest Titan of them all, standing at a massive 60 meters. Its sheer size makes it an intimidating figure capable of mass destruction, but it has other oversized versions of normal Titan characteristics as well. All Titan shifters emit heat upon transforming, but perhaps as a side effect of its size, the Colossus Titan's energy is able to be used as a weapon itself, functioning as a sort of bomb in the area that the user transforms in. Similarly all Titans emit some heat while transformed, but the Colossus Titan has control of the heat that it produces allowing it to blast blazing hot steam from its body to repel or even burn enemies, though this ability comes at the cost of its muscle mass, eventually forcing the user to exit their Titan form. Founding Titan

The most important Titan of all and what Marley's Warriors were sent to Paradis to retreive. The Founding Titan's owner is capable of using their screams to control other Titans. Descendents of Ymir can be turned into Titans by this scream, and Titans can be controlled by screams as well, to a level beyond what the Beast Titan and Female Titan are capable of. Descendents of Ymir can also have their memories altered by the Founding Titan, as well as their bodies, down to their very basic biology. Cart titan

The Cart Titan is a uniqueform that exclusively maneuvers on all fours. Like the Jaw Titan, it is small and without much in the way of defense, but it doesn't come with the strength of the Jaw Titan to make up for that. Instead, the Cart Titan's skill is endurance. For most Titan users, it is exhausting to transform and there is a limit to how long they can stay transformed. The Cart Titan, on the other hand, is capable of switching between forms oftend and can stay in Titan form for extremely long periods of time - potentially up to months, Titan shifter titan

War Hammer Titan

the War Hammer Titan, uses the common ability of Titans to harden their skin to create weapons made of their crystalized flesh. This makes the War Hammer perhaps the most versatile Titan, as it's been shown to be able to make all sorts of weapons, from swords to whips. In additon, it is the only Titan that is capable of being controlled without the user staying inside the nape of the Titan form's neck. Instead, the user can be connected to the War Hammer via a wire of Titan flesh attached to a hardened Titan crystal containing the user, allowing them to safely control the Titan from a distance.
