During a reconnaissance mission on July 15, 2022, Graves, Gawst, Laswell, Shepard and Shadow Company destroy General Gorbrani by striking Al-Mazra with a ballistic missile. Information gathered by Laswell indicates that Hassan is located in Las Almas, Mexico. To find him, Shepard sent Task Force 141 along with Graves and the Shadows to Las Almas to find Hassan. There, Goust, Sope and Alejandro Vargas, along with Los Vaqueros, search for Hassan in the vicinity of a village in a mountainous area, but without success, since the Cartel had previously taken him away. The trio then went to the cartel's territory, where they summoned Graves and the Shadows to support them upstairs while inside the AC-130. After successfully capturing Hassan, the team passes through the village, where they are ambushed by the cartel, prompting Graves to immediately provide them with support. To gather more information about the location of the stolen missiles, Graves helps Sope and Alejandro break into the mansion and capture Valeria Garza, the leader of the Las Almas cartel, also known as "El Sin Nombre". During the interrogation, Graves learns the location of the second missile, then Graves and Shadows, accompanied by Task Force 141 and Alejandro, go on a mission to find the stolen missile and destroy it at an abandoned oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. Graves then betrays Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros by seizing Los Vaqueros headquarters in Las Almas, as well as jailing Mexican Special Forces soldiers, as well as Alejandro, and trying to kill Sope and Goust. Graves later proceeds to "interrogate" police officers and civilians on the streets of Las Almas in an attempt to find the whereabouts of Hassan Ziani, as well as Soap and the Ghost.
