Sans is rationally insane; he is cruel, especially in the presence of a human. He sometimes feels very guilty for killing all the monsters, and especially for the death of his brother, who became his "ghost" (in fact, the Papyrus is nothing more than his hallucination). The skeleton often talks to him, but due to the fact that others cannot see him, it will seem to them that he is talking to himself.

A short skeleton with rather wide bones. He wears a blue jacket with a gray hood, put on his head so that no one can see him, and so that dust does not get on his face. There is no dust on black trousers up to the feet, unlike jackets and pink sneakers, on which it is present in large quantities. His left eye is blue, with a scarlet border, denoting justice, repainted because of determination. Sometimes you can see purple flames in Sans' eyes, depicting karma.

biography

Sans has experienced hundreds of ways of Genocide and realized that it is useless to judge a person. Despite hundreds of resets, the skeleton gains a Determination that allows him to remember past timelines and stop all this madness. Sans decided to make a person tired of death, but their soul is too strong for a monster with 1 LV. To become stronger, the skeleton decided to sacrifice other monsters. Sans constantly felt great guilt, and the monsters he killed came to him in nightmares. However, the skeleton continued to kill others, and over time the guilt disappeared. At that moment, the only thing that mattered to him was trying to stop the man. His brother is the last monster that Sans didn't want to kill, but he sacrifices them too, reasoning that death by human hand would be worse for him. It was the last and strongest blow to the psyche of Sans, after which he went crazy and began to see the "ghost" of Papyrus, not giving the skeleton rest.
