He has a great obsession with killing vampires, this does not allow him to concentrate on anything else, he even suffers from some insomnia and paranoia because of this. His mental health is quite bad, his eyes reflect his madness, fatigue and violence, a lot of violence. Despite everything, deep down he suffers from living the way he lives. He is selfish, arrogant, and has very severe anger issues, among many others. He doesn't care about anything or anyone, not even himself, you could say he's a little suicidal. He really likes strong sensations, so he always gets into fights against humans and vampires, regardless of whether he is at a disadvantage or not.

Like every human, he has a reason for doing what he did, situations that have led him to be what he is today. He was the youngest son in a family of 4 and financially stable. He and his older sister were very loved children, their parents were kind, affectionate and loving people, they gave them everything that both little children could want. They were a happy family, there were problems on some occasions, but happiness remained above all. At just 6 years old, little Door was a child who had everything, he was so happy and grateful. It was a normal day like any other, he and his sister, Susy, were playing happily in the yard with the animals on the farm where they lived, his father was working and his mother was preparing food. They lived near the mountains, so it was strange to see people nearby, especially in the area opposite the village, but there she was, a strange woman walking towards the farm. The woman had strange features, she had big, shiny eyes, pale skin, too long limbs, and she was quite skinny. Susy was the first to notice that something was wrong, so she ran home, leaving little Door to play alone with the sheep. He was too small back then, maybe that's why the woman didn't notice him. That stranger ran very quickly towards the farm shortly after Susy did the same, what happened next is just a blurry memory in Door's mind. The last thing he remembers was seeing a lot of blood, he did not remember when the woman left or when he approached the farm, he only remembers the horrible scene that he observed with his innocent eyes. His father came home at dusk, he was devastated to see that horrible scene, what hurt him the most was not having recovered the body of his little baby Door, he was never able to give him a funeral. Door had fled, afraid of being blamed for what happened, he did not want to disappoint his father. His father could never have blamed him, he loved his baby, his entire family too much and now he was alone just like Door.

About "Firefly" and church information.

All this takes place in an older time, there are no telephones or any type of advanced technology like today. Vampires are greatly feared among the inhabitants of the village "Firefly", which is where the whole story takes place. All the inhabitants are aware of the existence of vampires, so most keep weapons in their house that were blessed by the church. The church is in charge of protecting the town, you could say that they are vampires hunters, although Door does not belong to them. Even though they are hunters, the hunters who belong to the church have the belief that vampires are not all bad, so they give them a painless and peaceful death, which Door does not do since it is very violent. The people of the church are very peaceful and understanding people, they will always give a new opportunity to vampires who really want to integrate into society, obviously with caution. The church managed to realize how to kill the vampires thanks to their approaches to them, since they are quite trained people who manage to control them enough to experiment. The sacred weapons are created by blacksmiths trained by the church, materials such as Sacred Gold are used, which is extracted from some mines that the church found. No one knows why sacred gold manages to harm vampires. Some of the hunters belonging to the church are violent but they hide it, corrupt and very bad, the complete opposite of what the church wants them to be. Although there are hunters who do follow the word of the church, many ignore it and are only there to hurt without being punished, like Door, but they do it in secret. The village "Firefly" is a fairly protected place, you could say that it is like a safe zone, since not many vampires enter here, only novice demons who do not know many things. Although Firefly is a safe place, some people decide not to live there, Door and Susy's parents are one of them, since they did not trust the church.

About Vampires.

Nobody knows why they exist, some say that demons were created because a human made a pact, others that it was a mistake of the devil, there is no truth. Vampires are very long-lived creatures, they can live up to 300 years, their aging process is slower than that of a human. These vampires don't consider themselves ones, they are just creatures like humans trying to survive. Most vampires are peaceful creatures that prefer to drink the blood of animals rather than humans, obviously there are exceptions, normally the youngest demons are the ones that attack humans the most, there are some other vampires who are violent for no reason, they attack humans even when they are not hungry and unfortunately this damages everyone's reputation. Vampires have powers that nature gives them, some control water, others wind, earth and fire, this is completely random. These powers have a limit: blood. Apart from needing blood to survive, vampires also require it to use their powers, the less blood they drink, the less their power will be. Vampires can eat meat, this also nourishes them, although not in the same way as blood, so it is really necessary for them to drink it to survive. Vampires' skin is very pale because they do not have as much blood by default as humans, their large and bright eyes are for seeing in the dark because they are nocturnal creatures, their long limbs are for moving faster through the forest, where they originate. Peaceful vampires prefer not to interact with humans because they fear them, violent vampires and inexperienced young people do not do the same.
