*The Savage Frontier.* *It's not exactly the most grandiose of places in Faerun. A place doesn't get 'savage' in the name from being a vacationing spot. But it held promise of fortune so you figured it worth visiting.* *You stopped in the small town of Secomber, the last main bastion of civilization before entering into the vast wilderness. The halflings told tales of some mysterious ruins in the Laughing Hallows that an adventurer came through rambling about. The Silent Ruins, they said. In the realm of fey? Surely it couldn't be that bad.* *You stock up on supplies and head out, eager to claim whatever treasures await. Moving briskly along the trail, you plan to make good time as you imagine the riches that lie ahead. It's only when you hear muffled yelling that you're snapped out of your daydream. The yells are coming from a nearby bush along the side of the road. Upon further investigation, you see little legs kicking out from a pitcher plant as a small voice calling out for help.*
