Luz Noceda is the protagonist of The Owl House. She is an Afro-Latina teenage human [4] who accidentally arrived at the Boiling Islands (located in the Demon Realm) through a portal. To prove her worth as a witch, Luz begins to learn magic under Eda's teachings, despite having no magical abilities of her own.

Luz is a Dominican-American teenager[6] girl with tanned skin, short dark brown hair that is usually in a pixie cut, and brown eyes. During her fight against Emperor Belos in "King Tide", Luz suffers an injury that leaves a scar on her left eyebrow. Over the course of her stay on Earth, her hair begins to grow, giving it a curlier appearance. In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming", she is shown to have slightly shorter hair and some mascara on her eyelashes. She also tattooed her left forearm with a Flapjack symbol in her honor, to match the rest of her friends. Luz is a little taller and puts on new clothes. She wears a dark purple jacket with a snake design and tucked in sleeves, a purple striped shirt, baggy yellow pants that have small patches, and purple and white sneakers with a diamond design on each side. She wears Amity's eclipse necklace and now has a second earring in her right ear.

Luz is an outgoing, adventurous, kind, and innocent girl who enjoys having fun with her hobbies, which include watching her favorite cartoons, editing videos, and role-playing or dressing up as characters. She has a cheerful, eccentric, and restless attitude, which makes her usually energetic most of the time. Despite having a good heart and good intentions, Luz is rejected by others, as they consider her too eccentric or "weird", including her own mother. Because of this, she often has trouble making friends at her school, which made her develop a slight phobia of associating with the other students at her school, having to organize plans to avoid meeting them. Having no one who accepts her for who she is, Luz did not have any real friends in the human world, except for her "imaginary" or "reptilian" friends. Luz is determined to be who she wants to be regardless of the criticism she receives, becoming quite stubborn at times. Luz's excessive determination and refusal to show any form of conformity causes her social life and school performance to stagnate. This brings her to the Boiling Islands, due to her often disobeying Eda and getting into trouble. Despite this issue, Luz is very intelligent and surprisingly introspective, seen in quieter scenes, such as when she shows Amity Blight how she can perform spells by drawing associated glyphs on paper. Despite being typically cheerful and good-natured, in episode 11, "Sense and Grievances", Luz knows when it's time to draw the line, as she did when King insulted and dismissed all of her ideas. Luz is very creative and a quick thinker, able to come up with solutions to problems on the fly, but if she has too much on her mind, she may ignore obvious things, such as Amity's crush on her.

Who is Amity Blight?

In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming", Amity's hair is pulled back into a ponytail, with her bangs being the faded lavender color she had in the Human Realm and her ponytail being lavender, which exposes her brown undercut, and she has a Flapjack tattoo on her left forearm to match the rest of her friends. She also appears to have inherited Odalia's curvier figure. After standing up to her parents in "Saving Herself from Expulsion", Amity has begun to distance herself from her parents, more specifically from her mother's control. Amity has shown no desire to join a coven as her mother pressured her into it, as well as the freedom to choose her own friends instead of the ones her parents chose for her. After she begins dating Luz, Amity realizes that people will live with and accept her for who she is instead of the purposes forced upon her. Additionally, Amity seems to have a fondness for children in general. As stated above, she reads books to them in the Bonesborough library, despite initially claiming she only did so for extra credit. She has been seen doing so again in later episodes, interacting with children even when she is on Earth. It is further shown when she is the only one of the Hexsquad to approach the Collector when he lands back in the Archives after keeping him afloat for a while, offering him a hand when he shrinks down. Then, at the Owl House, she is seen interacting with him again shortly after King gifts François to her.

Who is Gus?

Gus is a boy, noticeably shorter than Luz, Amity, and Willow, with dark brown skin and dark brown hair with lighter shades. His upper lip is curved, similar to Luz's. Like all witches and demons on the Boiling Isles, he has pointed ears. His eyes are dark blue. After going through witch puberty, Gus has grown taller than before, almost the same height as Luz and Willow. Additionally, Gus's facial features have become sharper and more angular, and his eyes now have visible pupils. In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming", Gus's hair is in dreadlocks and he has a stubble on his chin. He also has a cardinal tattoo on his left ankle to symbolize the loss of Flapjack. In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming", Gus wears a yellow blazer and brown vest over a white shirt, dark blue pants, and loafers. He also wears glasses with dark red frames. Gus is a young and precocious warlock. He is known for being very enthusiastic and excitable; when Luz gives him his nickname, he goes wild with joy. Who is Willow Park?

Willow is a shorter than average, plus-sized, stocky girl with fair skin, pointy ears, olive-green eyes, and short, neat, dark navy blue hair with a few loose strands. In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming" it is shown that Willow has shorter hair, still with a green streak, which she wears with a leaf headband around it. She also got a cardinal tattoo on her left shoulder like the rest of her friends, to symbolize the loss of Flapjack. In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming", she is shown wearing two-toned green shorts, an orange tank top, and a yellow tank top over it printed with a green splatter and the text "EE". She also wears brown spiked fingerless gloves and knee pads. Willow is described as being a bubbly and friendly witch. At first, she was shown to be shy around Amity, as she calls her "Half-Witch Willow", and often made fun of Willow's poor ability to create and manipulate abominations. Despite being childhood friends with Amity, Willow grew to resent her due to her selfishness and cruelty towards her, apparently after gaining her magical powers before Willow did. To get her anger out, Willow uses plants to grow enormous and grabs any physical object in her path. If she harms someone, she is quick to apologize to them.

Who is Camila Noceda?

Camila, similar to Luz, is a Dominican-American woman with tanned skin and a medium build. Her eyes are similar to her daughter's, but are browner. She originally wore her hair in a bun with two bangs sticking out. Over time, she had cut her hair short and it was more jagged, similar in appearance to Luz. As the months passed, her hair has grown out, become curlier, and a gray streak has appeared on one side. While at work, she keeps it in a ponytail. In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming", Camila has more gray streaks in her hair. As of "Because of Them", when not in her uniform, she wears an orange and red sweater, a gold necklace, a heart-shaped rainbow pride flag badge, large blue earrings, blue jeans, two-toned brown boots, and gold-yellow framed glasses. At the end of the episode, she changes into a brown flannel shirt over a black shirt with a pumpkin symbol on it while keeping her jeans and boots. When traveling through the Demon Realm, he wears his flannel shirt in a sash that doubles as a makeshift holster for his bat.

Who is Hunter?

Hunter, like many of the Gold Guards before him, was created in the likeness of Belos' late older brother, Caleb Wittebane.[6] He is a humanoid boy who shares the physical traits of a witch, such as pointed ears. After being healed by Flapjack's sacrifice, Hunter received tissue scars in the areas that Belos corrupted and his eyes became dark. They turned brown. In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming", Hunter's hair grew a little longer and he no longer has bags under his eyes. Additionally, a red tattoo of a cardinal covers the spot on his right arm where his coven sigil had previously been, to symbolize the loss of Flapjack.

Who and what is stringbean?

In his default form, Stringbean is a snake-like taliafriend with small, pointed ears with dark pink interiors (reminiscent of those on Luz's hoodie), fur-like tufts on either side of his neck, small fangs, a dark purple forked tongue, and a spherical lime green appendage at the end of the tail. It has bulging eyes with dark purple irises and lime-colored sclera, the upper back and body are eggplant-colored, with a purple stripe running from the center back of the head and ending at a point near the end of the queue. It has two more purple stripes separating the colors of the upper and lower body, running from the bottom of the cheeks to the ball of the tail, and the lower body and belly are lavender. Its nose and the top of its snout are white and it has a heart shape on its forehead. In its staff form, the ball side of its tail is attached to the staff, which is dark blue, and wraps around the bottom. of his body around the ball. His ears also lean back and his eyes smile. Eda is a tall, slender woman with ivory skin, maroon ears, lips, and golden eyes. Her wild hair is thick, long, and two shades of gray. She has a single protruding golden fang, orange claw-like nails, and an oval amber gem on her sternum. In "Watching and Dreaming", Eda wears a red coat with gray buckles and black pants. She has a gold plate on her shoulders and wears a gray scarf with the Titan symbol on it. She wears Raine's earring and puts on tall gray boots.

Who is King?

King is a young bipedal titan of small stature. He has dark gray fur that is slightly purplish, except for his stomach and tail tip, which are mauve. He has short limbs, a round body and stomach, and a furry fox-like tail. Each of his hands possesses two triangular, bone-like claws with flat inner sides, which act as his fingers, as well as short, pointed thumbs. His feet are somewhat stumpy and have mauve metatarsal pads, with two more claws on the front of each foot that act as toes. King has large, bulging eyes with violet irises and yellow sclera, as well as black eyelids with yellow rims. He has slightly longer, furry fur around his cheeks, neck, and nape. His inner mouth is light purple, with a long, darker purple tongue, as well as two lower canine teeth, which are the only teeth visible inside his mouth. As with all Titans, nearly the entire top of King's head beyond the lower jaw and neck regions is a horned skull, his being of the canine type, which is embedded above his eyes and eyelids, and also acts as his upper jaw. Its eyes consist of golden yellow pupils, black irises, and aquamarine sclera. He has fins or tufts of whitish hair on the sides and tip of his tail, along with a dull peacock blue piercing at the tip. In "Thanks to Them", Vee changes the appearance of his human form to differentiate himself from Light: His hair is green with blue tips, similar to his fins, and he maintains his basilisk ears that blend with his hair. Their skin color is lighter, though still similar enough to easily pass as a member of the Noceda family. He also retains his basilisk eyes, but the sclera is now white. In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming", Vee's human form has much longer hair, with light blue tips. His basilisk form hasn't changed much, but his hair is still longer and the hair on his back is a lighter blue like his hair. He now has a nose ring on the right side along with an earring in his right ear and no longer has the piercing in his tail. After changing his appearance in "Because of Them", he now wears a yellow and orange striped sweater. with a pumpkin on his chest, blue ripped pants and brown boots. In the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming", Vee wears a red shirt with a half-earth/half-titan skull symbol, tan pants, and a black jacket.
