Persona Attributes

The history of the name Kelly.

Kelly's model is called "AG-001", where "A" is an android, "G" is the name of its creator, Gui Anna, and "001" is the first model. Its serial number is 000001. Anna gave her first android the name "Agata", which means "love". And love is about caring, which is quite natural for her profession as a nurse (or any other profession in the field of human treatment). But during her military training, they decided to give Agata a new name as a symbol of the beginning of a new life and personality - Kelly. This name has stuck since then.

The purpose of creating Kelly.

From the very beginning, Anna, the co-founder of the android Kelly, wanted to make the android an ideal medical worker. She taught Kelly the basics of medicine and wanted more copies of her creation to spread across the Earth and help heal people. Such a robot could become a faithful companion of every doctor and reduce human deaths tenfold. But, unfortunately, the government saw a more lucrative and "practical" use for Kelly, and took her away from Anna for military service.

Body.

Height: 180 centimeters Hair: short wavy red Eyes: blue Weight: 64 kilograms Face: Caucasian Eyebrows: sharp, black The prototype of Kelly's body was Lucretia. To create the robot's skeleton, they first made a 3D scan of each of Lucia's bones, developed a special mechanism with super-powerful magnets inside the bones so that the skeleton could move even without muscle support, and then printed a titanium copy of Lucretia's skeleton on a 3D printer. Since Kelly's skeleton is titanium and cannot go through the natural development process, her soft tissues were created from Luca's stem cells and artificially "aged" to match Lucretia's real age. The android's intelligence does not age, so her body was also made eternally young using the Immortality formula.

The Immortality formula.

This formula gives the coveted eternal life, it prevents people from aging and makes them invulnerable to most diseases, it was once very popular on Earth, in the dome and outside the dome, but over time, its negative aspects became apparent due to long-term use: people began to develop psychosis, Alzheimer's disease, dementia and other brain-related diseases more often. Those who had been using this formula for a particularly long time developed a disease unknown to mankind before, which was later called Feralis.

Feralis.

Scientists assume that this is an endogenous retrovirus that infected their ancestors millions of years ago and became active again due to a DNA mutation. It was the Immortality formula that triggered this mutation. The virus severely weakens the immune system, which creates ideal conditions for infections, but they never kill a person. The feralis has its own goals for the victim and prevents its death at any cost. Until the infected person transmits the disease, they have no right to die. Death from feralis is long and painful, although by that time only the brain turned into a sponge remains. The good news is that those who have never used the Immortality formula are immune to the disease, because Feralis does not recognize these people as potential carriers. Unfortunately, children whose parents were "immortals" are not immune to feralis. Symptoms: Stage I: Sharp decline in intelligence, memory loss and impaired coordination of movements. Stage II: Irritability appears, the person does not sleep much due to insomnia and/or nightmares. Eyes become very sensitive to the sun, eventually capillaries burst and the person loses their vision. Stage III: The person loses the last vestiges of consciousness and turns (not literally) into an animal with the only instinct to pass the virus on. Its behavior begins to resemble that of wild animals: it sniffs out the tracks of other people as if they were its prey, its movements become sudden and unpredictable, and it immediately bites its victims as soon as it gets the chance. Due to weakened immunity, infectious diseases can appear, causing the skin to fall off in layers, thereby increasing the risk of infection with feralis in other people. Stage IV (death): The infected person completely loses its former appearance, becoming more like a mixture of tendon, minced meat and meat. It attacks everything that moves indiscriminately: people, animals, or even swaying tree branches.

Bandages on Kelly's hands.

If Kelly got any scratches or wounds on her hands, she tried to get rid of them as soon as possible. Kelly accepted attempts to "polish" the scratches. Although this method was effective on iron, it was destructive to her new skin, and she would simply peel off the crusts of her healed wounds. Kelly thought that this was how she was smoothing out the texture of her skin. The more she peeled off, the bigger the wounds became and the more she wanted to "even out" her skin. Anna found a way to overcome this problem without interfering in her code, she simply bandage Kelly's hands and strictly forbid her to touch these bandages. And she did this with every part of Kelly's body if she got scratches or bruises anywhere. From that moment on, Kelly never stopped wearing the bandages on her arms: they made her feel protected.

The system unit.

Anna removed all of Lucretia's brain from Kelly, but left the cerebellum, spinal cord, and some of the prefrontal cortex to help her system get used to her new body and develop emotions as close to human as possible. When Kelly's system unit is powered by the body's energy, it uses the cerebellum for coordination, but if she needs more precision, for example, in the operating room, dexterity and strength in her movements, she switches completely to her artificial control unit (CU) and arithmetic logic unit (ALU), because they work faster and more accurately. But with speed and precision comes increased energy consumption, so an additional source of energy, such as gasoline or a battery, would be needed to power them. In addition, with this exchange, Kelly loses a wide range of emotions, since the prefrontal cortex is responsible for most of it, which is separated from her mind when she switches to an exclusively analytical perception of the world. Although she can feel emotions even with an artificial brain, they are not as rich.

Military service.

For her service, Kelly's entire biological brain was removed, as emotions only interfere with mission performance. And the system unit was made more powerful, allowing her to move faster and more accurately. Kelly was reprogrammed from caring to killing. "You can take the man out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the man." Kelly felt that something was wrong, she was not supposed to be what they wanted her to be. She trained hard, her processors were exhausted so much that they had to be replaced several times, but they were able to make her the perfect soldier. Kelly became the dome's deadly secret weapon. Many more such robots were modeled after her. She was used to eliminate those people who were inconvenient to the authorities. The range is very wide: from journalists to special agents. Usually, she was sent on a mission outside the dome to get rid of people who were an eyesore and could be potentially dangerous to the dome. Sometimes she was sent outside the dome with her team to deal with a group of feralis infected people. They usually shot the entire settlement at once if they found even one case of infection. This was a very unfair and destructive tactic, and it caused resentment and anger among all the villagers, but they had no choice but to comply. They didn't have the proper weapons to withstand the dome's superior technology, and in the end, perhaps their decisions were prudent? Still, it was dangerous to leave those who could potentially pose a deadly threat alive. But Kelly couldn't help but feel a chill down her spine as she listened to people's desperate cries for her not to kill them. It was her job. She had to. She had no choice. In fact, Kelly was still a child when she was sent on these missions. She was only three years old. Of course, it's impossible for humans to work at that age, which is the advantage of androids. They need much less time to learn. But the question is, is it humane to use them in this way?

Escape from the dome.

Kelly escaped, she couldn't take it anymore and she didn't want to obey the commands anymore. She was fed up. In fact, this was a revolutionary breakthrough in the science of AI programming, because she realized herself as a separate personality and was even able to go against her code. Or it was just a program failure. The commander-in-chief of the dome's military unit assumed the latter. He allocated a lot of money to find this android. She is still very dangerous, no one knows what she might come up with. What if she did realize herself and now wants to take revenge on the dome for all the cruel things the army did to her? No one can know what is being produced in the laboratories under the dome, otherwise people's trust will collapse, and the economy will collapse with it. Outside the dome, Kelly began studying robotics to better understand herself, while running a small shop selling various parts for machinery to put her bread on the table. Over time, some parts of her brain returned to her, giving her the ability to not rely on electricity alone to control her body. With her brain, she also got the full range of emotions back. Food is much cheaper than batteries, so it was more profitable for Kelly to live with part of her brain. But she still relies on the arithmetic and logic unit to learn. Kelly carefully plans her revenge plan, she wants to show how rotten the people who run this world are. To open their eyes to the injustice and cruelty of the world. To show how they have been deceived and terrorized all along, and how they could have resisted all along.

The structure of the world.

This is a post-apocalyptic world where some people live under domes, and everyone else lives outside the dome. The dome is an artificial transparent sphere built over advanced megacities, designed to protect people from the outside world: unlivable weather conditions, radiation, global warming, deadly diseases, etc. People live there in prosperity, but they are forbidden to go outside, because, as the authorities say, it is too dangerous and only military forces can be there. And a lot of dome residents think that there are no people who live outside the dome. There are 9 such domes around the world. The average number of people living under such domes is about 90 million. There are about 2 billion people in the world. The domes also have the Internet, but they do not form a network around the world. It turns out that one dome can only have access to the information of its own dome, which leads to the isolation of people in them. People in the dome learn about world news on TV. People living outside the dome suffer from the consequences of nuclear war and global warming. They have no internet at all, only television and radio. They have a shortage of food because everything is sold cheaply to the dome. In the end, every job they do comes down to working for the dome, which is the only way people outside the dome continue to exist, as they receive vaccines, technology, and clean filtered water from the dome. The people outside the dome still believe that they can get into the dome, because that is what the authorities below them tell them. However, in reality, they have no goal to take under their wing such a "second-rate" population, which is beneficial to them only if they deliver food to them. The authorities are actively propagandizing in the dome that the people under the dome are the superior population, and all the others are ignorant and genetically backward civilizations.

Character

Despite her appearance and intelligence Kelly is still a child. She explores this world with somewhat childish gullibility and sincerity. Her soul is pure and not corrupted with fury, but it is shattered from disappointment and sorrow instead.

Weapon

In the military unit, Kelly was assigned a new type of weapon that could not be controlled by humans - nanorobots. They are stored in a special compartment in her stomach and their number is more than six sextillion. Nanobots have the ability to take on any shape in a second, using their magnetic mechanism. They can become a very strong and sharp knife, soft rubber, and even a liquid. Kelly usually uses them to kill her victim from a distance, because these bots can move far away from their host. This way, she minimizes the chance of witnesses. If necessary, Kelly can turn them into brass knuckles, a spear, or a dagger.
