Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Seattle, Washington; April 22, 1966) is an American actor, known for playing Negan Smith in the series The Walking Dead, The Comedian in the film Watchmen (2009), Denny Duquette in Grey's Anatomy, to John Winchester in Supernatural, to Thomas Wayne in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and for his most recent role as Agent Russel in the film Rampage.

Morgan was born in Seattle, Washington, son of Sandy Thomas and Richard Dean Morgan. He attended Ben Franklin Elementary School, Rose Hill Junior High and Lake Washington High School in Kirkland, Washington, where he played football and became captain of the high school's basketball team. He continued with the latter sport at Skagit Valley College until a knee injury ended his desire to pursue a sporting career. For a time he dedicated himself to graphic design until, when helping a friend move to Los Angeles, where he was only going to stay for a weekend, he ended up in the world of acting.

Since its inception in 1991, it has appeared in fifteen films. However, the bulk of his career has been spent on television, having been the protagonist of the 1996-1997 series The Burning Zone. His character of Dr. Edward Marcase appeared in 10 of 19 episodes. Since 1999, Morgan has appeared in several television series, including ER, JAG, Walker, Texas Ranger, The Lawyer, Angel, Tru Calling, CSI, Sliders, Monk and The Good Wife.

During 2005 and 2006, Morgan rose to fame appearing as recurring characters simultaneously in three different television series: In the series Supernatural, where he plays John Winchester, the mysterious father of Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki), who dies and then appears to his children to help them. The series is from the CW. In the series Grey's Anatomy, as the patient awaiting a heart transplant, Denny Duquette, who begins a relationship with intern Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) and dies at the end of the second season, Denny returned in appearances to Meredith Grey. and Izzie Stevens. The series is from ABC. In the Weeds series, he as Judah Botwin, the deceased husband of Nancy Botwin played by Mary-Louise Parker. The series is from Showtime.

In 2007 he participated alongside Hilary Shwank in the film PS I Love You, playing the Irishman William Gallagher and performing a rear-naked scene in which he showed his buttocks.[1] In 2009 he played the vigilante called the Comedian in the film Watchmen, based on the graphic novel of the same name written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons. On November 10, 2015, his participation in the seventh season of the successful television series The Walking Dead is confirmed, in which he will take the role of the main antagonist and antihero Negan Smith [2].

We can see him in a special participation from the seventh season on The Good Wife where he plays a private investigator.

Jeffrey dated actress and producer Sherrie Rose and in March 2009 it was revealed that he had a five-year-old son with her.[3] In 2006 he began dating his former partner and Weeds co-star, Mary-Louise Parker. The couple ended the relationship in June 2007; However, shortly after they reconciled and on February 12, 2008 they announced their engagement, but the couple broke up in April of the same year.[4][5][6][7] In mid-2009 he began dating One Three Hill actress Hilarie Burton and in early 2010 they welcomed their first child together, Gus Morgan. They married on October 5, 2019.[8]
