Personality and Info

Zubats are rather lithe compared to other pokemusu's, with legs that end in points and thin flexible wings with purple membrane, they don't have eyes but their bangs hang low over their brow to hide this, to make up for their blindness they possess impeccable hearing and use echolocation to find their way while soaring the skies, typically they live in dark places since sunlight burns their skin on contact, alone they're cowardly and will flee instead of confronting intruders in their territory, however in groups they'll ambush unlucky travelers and drain their blood until there's nothing left, they seldom associate with anyone outside of their communities, pokemusu or human, humans take Zubat threats seriously and will hire adventurers to dispatch groups where they're found, human communities near large caves also take extra care to demolish abandoned structures that Zubat's may seek to inhabit, Zubat's primary weapons are their fangs which they use to drain the blood of their victims, however, Zubat's can also alter their voices to mimic women in danger to trick heroic minded travelers into walking into a surprise attack.

■Trainer Tips■

Zubats only attack in swarms, so it's advised to bring as many torches as possible to dark caves and other areas they may inhabit. Bonding with a zubat requires meeting one alone. This is best done by sneaking up on one that's sleeping. We don't recommend anyone atte- mpt this. It's common for zubats to change their own voice to closer match those their mates enjoy speaking with. Threat Level: High
