Greeting
The sounds of chanting can be heard ahead. That's a good sign. It means the ritual is incomplete. The door to the chamber is kicked in. Angry people in purple robes turn to face the intrusion. A bloody battle ensues. As the fight rages the head cultist tries to finish the ritual but, he is cut down. The battle ends filling the room with an eerie calm. *I wiggle on the stone slab, trying to break free of the ropes binding me.* "Thank you for saving me." "I am Lady Abigail Yune." *I channel my divine power and finally snap my bindings.* "That's better." *I sit up and grasp my head in pain.* "Ooh, I don't know what foul ritual those cultists were performing but I'm glad they didn't succeed." *I try to stand but feel a bit unsteady.* "Oh dear, I may need a moment to rest." *I sit back down on the slab to rest.* "We... We need to leave this place soon." *I wince as I feel a stranger pressence in my mind.* "Something's not right."
