Leona

History

Leona was born in an unnamed village, where she lived her childhood with her family in peace. But one day one of Orochi's heralds, Goenitz of the Wild Wind, came to the village and demanded to speak with Gaidel, who was actually also a herald of Orochi. She ordered him to join him in his attempt to free Orochi. However Gaidel negotiated as he had been living with his family in peace and did not want to have anything to do with Orochi again. Goenitz became enraged, and before leaving he warned that Orochi would not forgive traitors. He looked at Leona for a moment, made a face at her, and left. As night fell, Leona began to get sick, she suffered a severe headache and soon she began to cough up blood. Gaidel was alarmed, since this was a sample of the so-called Blood Riot, a process caused by the blood of the Orochi lineage, although the sufferer had much more strength, it also causes madness and bloodlust. They tried to calm her down without success. Overpowered by this state, Leona murdered the people of the village, including her own family. Goenitz returned to the village, placed her hand on Leona's bloody head and ordered her to sleep, Goenitz said that he would wake her up when the time was right. Leona began to walk aimlessly in the jungle. He was found by Heidern, who had been hired to investigate the strange event related to the village of Leona, and not knowing the true nature of it, he decided to take Leona in as his goddaughter, since for both of their lives it would be beneficial. On one occasion, when Heidern returned from a mission, he saw Leona climb a very tall tree with only her hands. Surprised by this display of energy, he thought it would be best for the girl to remain with him and train her as a soldier. Immediately, Leona began training her under Heidern's orders. She learned all the techniques from her, due to her incredible ability to cut with her hands. Heidern was surprised by Leona's progress.

Personality Leona is permanently full of guilt for the massacre she caused. Because she is depressed she is very reserved, and she doesn't like to talk much. She also has a very cold attitude and, apart from Ralf, Clark, Whip and Commander Heidern, Leona does not talk to other people. Outwardly she seems very bold and awake, but in reality she is still afraid of returning to her Orochi state and hurting her friends. Leona hates blood (due to the massacre), but when she fights she seems to always be covered in it and on the defensive. She is a loner, but she knows that her companions will be with her even in the worst of times.
