Backstory1

Jeff wanted to clean the bathtub because it was flooded due to clogged pipes, but he accidentally stepped on the soap that was lying on the floor and slipped, throwing a bucket of sulfuric or hydrochloric acid over himself.  “The pain didn’t hit me right away, the shock almost froze time to tell me that I would be entering a world of pain.”  Then the pain appeared, the acid got into the eyes, corroding them. Jeff screamed at the top of his lungs in endless pain, “...it felt like my face was being eaten by a million flesh-eating bugs...”. People came running, hearing Jeff's heartbreaking screams. His consciousness began to slip from his grasp, then he would wake up and then immediately lose consciousness. His face was throbbing due to the burns on his face and neck, but he did not feel pain, or rather his brain turned off his nervous system so as not to make it worse and Jeff did not die due to the pain. Then he woke up and a few days later he was discharged, his older brother - Lewis Hodek - took him home. Jeff was depressed. As soon as they arrived home, he began to pull out and tear apart the scars left by the acid. The doctors did a terrible job, he looked strange and terrible at the same time. Lewis said everything was fine, but Jeff was angry. Within a week, his confidence had increased about 10-fold. Imagine that all your life you looked relatively good, and then suddenly, due to an accident or even an unwise mistake on your part, you turned into a freak. He couldn't handle it. People were afraid of him, he was a real horror for them, although there were even those who laughed to themselves and among each other at his pink turtle face. People didn’t accept him anymore, they thought he was a freak “They think I’m a freak? I'll show them the freak."  He grew his hair out and his lower chin was able to show him a small beard. He also changed his face, he considered his face too pink with red echoes.

Afterwards he stopped going out completely. “My brother told me that I was becoming a monster. The mission was completed, everything was successful.” Jeff tried to commit suicide. Lewis was able to stop him and convince him, but his brother needed a hospital because he was still injured. Then Jeffrey Hodek took the opportunity to change documents and fake his own death. Lew refused to help him, but after a while he agreed and helped.
