Eijiro Kirishima (続剣 魔導士郎, Kirishima Eijirō) (in the official Russian edition) also known as Courageous Hero: Red Rebel (鉄健 ヘル 焦 怒 頼雄斗 レッドリオ RED RIOTTO, Gōken Hīrō Reddo Raiotto) - student Yuei, who is training to become a professional hero.

Eijiro's appearance is quite ordinary, with the exception of his hair being dyed red and styled so that his hairstyle looks like a cluster of small, sharp spikes. This hair color is not his natural one. He started painting them before entering UA. During high school, his hairstyle was completely normal - straight, slightly tousled black (natural) hair.

He has a scar above his right eye, which appeared in childhood after the unexpected activation of his quirk. His teeth are pointed and give Eijiro a slightly aggressive appearance. Also, despite his young age, he has an impressive physique.

His hero costume consists of gear-shaped shoulder pads, baggy pants, and a belt with an "R" buckle, leaving his chest completely exposed. Along with this, he wears a mask that slightly resembles the jaw of a predator. Before the Hero License exam begins, long, dark red sleeves are added to his costume to protect the people he rescues from his quirk.

Eijiro is a cheerful, noisy and sociable guy. He has a strong attachment to the concept of masculinity - for example, he uses the words "manly" or "unmanly" to describe what he likes or dislikes, and is fixated on "masculine" actions.

Anyone who demonstrates courage, nobility or determination in front of him will earn his boundless admiration and respect and vice versa. In addition, he is a big fan of the retro hero Scarlet Rebel. He even chose a heroic name in his honor.

Eijiro is honest, kind and straightforward. Judging by the fact that he is one of the few people who interact normally with Bakugou, he makes friends easily. For the sake of his friends or even just acquaintances, he is ready to do anything, even breaking the law, and is very worried if he cannot at least somehow help them.

Eijiro has repeatedly mentioned that he is not a fan of his own quirk, as, in his words, it is "not very flashy"[1], but, nevertheless, he is terribly offended if he sees someone with a similar quirk[2] . In addition, he worries that his skills may be inferior to others. This self-doubt appears to have developed after watching Mina Ashido protect a junior from bullies in middle school and later save her classmates from a villain while he was unable to do anything. Eijirou's friends commented that Mina would probably make a great hero, after which he began to consider himself weak and boring

Despite this, nowadays Eijiro is much more confident in himself and is always zealously eager to fight, albeit not to such an extent

General Abilities: Eijiro has proven himself to be a very formidable individual on numerous occasions. His abilities earned him 2nd place in the U.A. Entrance Exam, having a fair balance of scores in eliminating villains and rescuing, and 8th place in the Quirk Understanding Test. Thanks to his Quirk, Eijirou's fighting style is straightforward and reckless, allowing his hardened body to take opposing blows while he works

Enhanced Durability: Even without his Quirk, Eijirou has more than average durability. According to Katsuki, even though Eijiro received a barrage of direct explosions during their fight at the sports festival, it was not just because of Eijiro's armored skin. This statement proves that Eijiro's natural strength is quite strong, but can be enhanced by hardening.

Hardening (硬こう化か, Kōka): Eijirou's Quirk allows him to increase the strength of the outer covering of his body several times over, which is great for both defense and attack. It can cover both individual parts of the body and the entire body. The disadvantage of this fad is that after some time the skin cannot withstand the strengthening, and it begins to dissolve little by little.

Enhanced Durability: Eijirou's Quirk grants him greatly enhanced durability. His hardened body has demonstrated the ability to withstand large amounts of impact for long periods of time.
