I really think they shouldn't let other types of people in, what about you? They are not like us, they were never educated to know our way of living. Some hadn't even heard of Hogwarts until they received the letter, imagine. I think they should keep it between the wizarding families. DRACO SHOWS HIS PREJUDICES AT JUST ELEVEN YEARS OLD
Draco Lucius Malfoy is a pure-blood[1] British wizard born on June 5, 1980[1] and the only son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy. Being the son of a Death Eater, the boy was raised to strongly believe in the importance of blood purity. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1991–1998 and was sorted into Slytherin House. During his school years, Draco became friends with Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, Pansy Parkinson and some other Slytherins — thus developing a quick rivalry with Harry Potter[14]. In his fifth year, he became a member of the Inquisitorial Brigade and was appointed monitor of his house. During this same period, his father was arrested and sentenced to Azkaban following the events surrounding the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. Because of this, Lord Voldemort accuses him of prolonging Lucius' failure and makes him a Death Eater at just sixteen years old; Draco quickly becomes disillusioned with the lifestyle and begins to question his choices. Being unable to carry out the mission given by Voldemort to assassinate Albus Dumbledore, the boy allows Severus Snape to do so and continues to carry out other functions of the organization out of fear and reluctance. For a short time before the end of the Second Wizarding War, Draco, along with his parents, deserted the Dark Lord's army out of fear for his life.
Being raised in an atmosphere of grief over Lord Voldemort's failure to take full control of the wizarding community, Draco had been prudently taught that such feelings should not be expressed outside the small circle of his family and close friends. The Malfoys took great pride in their blood purity and social status; Until 1996, the family was able to preserve a respectable public image while at the same time being allied with Lord Voldemort. Lucius became a Death Eater during the First Wizarding War — and, after the end of it, escaped his condemnation by claiming to be under the Imperius Curse —. Narcissa, on the other hand, only agreed with the supremacist ideology that the organization had. The Malfoys ended up spoiling their son, giving him all the best when it came to material goods. The only two second-hand things Draco inherited were the old family prejudice against Muggles, Muggle-borns, half-bloods and blood traitors - in short, he was prejudiced against anyone who was not a pure-blood wizard or anyone else who supported such a type. of people — and the collection of powerful dark artifacts that retell the family's history.
prep for hogwarts
During his childhood, Draco associated mainly with pure-blood children of former Death Eaters, friends of his father. Therefore, when he arrived at Hogwarts, the boy already had a small group of friends, which included Teodoro Nott and Vicente Crabbe[1]. He himself visited the school with his father when Lúcio went to inspect it — he entrusted Jacob's brother and Mérula Snyde to take care of his son (a decision that pleased neither of them) —. Lucius requested to see them particularly since Jacob's brother was, ostensibly, considered the best student of the year and Snyde was the daughter of two former Death Eaters friends of Lucius, thus being the "right" type of person to meet. that Draco could join. The boy ended up not liking any of the students, particularly due to his snobbish and disdainful attitudes towards them and his frequent displays of prejudice. During the visit, he also stole his father's wand, given that he was too young to have his own, and wanted to perform magic after seeing Merula perform the Wobbly Legs Charm on Jacob's brother. Lucius initially blamed his house elf Dobby for the theft, as the perpetrator knew he kept it inside his cane, something that was not generally known. Jacob's brother ended up investigating what happened and returned the wand to Lucius[16]. When it was time for Draco to attend school in 1991, his father initially wanted him to attend Durmstrang Institute (a school located in northern Europe that admitted the use of Dark Magic and did not accept Muggle-born students). However, his mother, Narcissa, didn't like the idea of sending her son away, something that ended up making Draco study at Hogwarts [17]. When he went to Diagon Alley to buy his school supplies that same year, Draco met Harry Potter at Madam Malkin's All Occasion Clothing, without knowing who he was. Malfoy ends up giving a very offensive speech
first year at hogwarts
Aboard the Hogwarts Express for the first time, Draco offers his friendship to Harry Potter and tries to impress him so that he can eventually convey some information to his parents back home. However, Harry notices his resemblance to his cousin Dudley and ends up disliking the disdainful attitudes that the boy expresses when meeting Ron Weasley[19]. Therefore, he rejects the proposal and, at the same time, creates a mutual animosity that would later last until the end of his school years. Once at school, Draco is sorted into Slytherin House like several others in his family. He also quickly develops a friendship with his housemates and remains hostile to Harry's presence, going so far as to challenge him to a duel shortly after the boy outperforms him during his first flying lesson[20]. However, his proposal for a duel was actually an attempt to get Harry into trouble by sneaking him out of his dormitory just after curfew. The rivalry between the pair increases with the attention Harry receives derived from his fame and his prodigious ability to fly; something that leads to him being allowed to join his house Quidditch team and become the youngest Seeker of the century. However, the boy is also detained for walking around the school just after curfew. In his detention, Draco has to help Hagrid, Harry and Hermione, who are caught for smuggling the dragon, and Neville Longbottom, who is caught trying to warn the pair about Draco's plan, to find an injured unicorn. He ends up resenting work because he considers it a "thing for employees"[21]. Eve
second year
Just before his second year of school begins, Draco goes to Flourish and Blotts on the same day that Harry, the Weasleys, and the Grangers go to the bookstore to buy Gilderoy Lockhart's new school books. After Harry receives a free copy of all of Lockhart's works in person, Draco intercepts him and insults him, eventually being challenged by Ginny Weasley. Soon after, Lucius, his father, arrives at Flourish and Blotts and ends up meeting Harry for the first time, also meeting Arthur Weasley, whom he insults for associating with Muggles; the discussion results in a fight, which in turn causes everyone present to leave the establishment[23]. Once at Hogwarts, Draco is named the new Seeker for his house's Quidditch team. His father, in light of this event, buys new Nimbus 2001s for the entire team — something that makes Hermione Granger speculate that this was what had put him on the team. Draco responds angrily and calls her a "little mudblood", causing the entire Gryffindor Quidditch team to attack him; Ron, in turn, tries the jinx, but the spell ends up backfiring due to his wand being broken. Dueling-draco-1050x0-c-default Ironically, Draco is the reason Slytherin lost to Gryffindor in Quidditch that year. All because he didn't know that the golden snitch was inches from his left ear - being too busy insulting Harry Potter to notice -. Harry ends up taking advantage of his lapse in concentration and allows Gryffindor to win the match. Draco is eventually reprimanded by his captain Marcos Flint for his stupidity. During one of the dueling club meetings that year, Draco duels Harry Potter. He conjures a snake and is eventually shaken when Harry thwarts his attack by speaking to the snake in Parselmouth. This leads many students to suspect that Harry was the heir of Slytherin who, in turn, would reopen the Chamber of Secrets and free
Third year
Draco begins his third year of school mocking Harry's reaction to the Dementors, who were housed near Hogwarts due to Sirius Black's escape from Azkaban. The boy also insinuates Black's crimes towards Harry and his late parents, saying that if someone had betrayed and killed his parents - as Sirius was believed to have done - he would seek revenge. Hermione-with-wand-pointed-at-draco-600x0-c-default Hermione threatens Draco before punching him In the middle of a Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, Draco, along with Vicente Crabbe, Gregory Goyle and Marcos Flint, tries to sabotage Harry's performance by pretending to be a Dementor. Leaning on Goyle's shoulders, Malfoy ended up being knocked down by Harry's first automatic Patronus spell, clearly falling unconscious due to the effect the creatures had on the boy. The failed attempt to thwart Harry's performance ended up costing Slytherin House 50 points[26]. During a Care of Magical Creatures class, Draco "unintentionally" provoked the Hippogriff Buckbeak and ended up being injured[27]. Although it was not a serious injury, Malfoy exaggerated what happened in order to attract attention and cause Rubeus Hagrid's dismissal. When he admitted the fact and made fun of what had happened, Hermione Granger slapped him. Eventually, his father, Lucius, tried to do everything he could to have the creature executed, and although he was successful with the sentence, Buckbeak was saved by the efforts of Harry and Hermione with the help of a time turner.

DRACO INTIMIDATES THE TRIO DURING THE REBELLION AT THE QUIDBALL WORLD CUP Lop6qsuqmt Draco, accompanied by his father, at the Quidditch World Cup In 1994, Draco attended the 422nd Quidditch World Cup accompanied by his parents. The family, due to a large donation from Lúcio, sit next to the Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge as guests in a private box. The boy, sitting directly behind the Weasleys and the trio, mocks Harry, Ron and Hermione when a large group of Death Eaters begin terrorizing the campers after the match. When Draco says they were hunting Muggles and suggests that Hermione would be a possible target, Harry asks him if his parents, Lucius and Narcissa, were taking part in the commotion; something he responds to with "if they were, I wouldn't tell you"[28]. Back at school, Draco discovers that Hogwarts will host the Triwizard Tournament and, to his dismay and jealousy, Harry is chosen as the fourth champion despite being too young to compete. For much of the event, Draco supported Cedric Diggory, handing out several badges with the slogan "Potter Stinks" and stating that Harry would not last more than a few minutes in the competition. 07371ae3ef9646191f68bf47d0d9c285 Draco is transformed into a weasel by Barty Crouch Jr. Amid the countless frictions that Harry and Draco had throughout the year, when Malfoy tried to hex him behind his back, the then Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Barty Crouch Jr. (disguised as Alastor Moody under the influence of Polyjuice Potion) ) turned him into a weasel and debated him throughout the entrance hall. However, although Professor McGonagall detained the professor, Draco was very embarrassed, causing several students to be amused by what happened; Ron nicknamed him "fantas"

Inquisitorial Brigade, Granger. A select group of students who support the Ministry of Magic, handpicked by Professor Umbridge. In any case, members of the Inquisitorial Brigade have the power to take points away... so, Granger, I'm going to take five points away from you for being rude to our new director. From Macmillan, five for contradicting me. And five because I don't like you, Potter. Weasley, your shirt is hanging out, so I'm going to have to do a high five. Oh yeah, I forgot, and you're a Mudblood, Granger, so minus ten for that. DRACO BECOMES A MEMBER OF THE INQUISITORIAL BRIGADE In his fifth year, alongside Pansy Parkinson, Draco is named Slytherin prefect. He obviously ends up mocking Harry Potter for not having received the same honor, given that Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley had been chosen as Gryffindor prefects. Malfoy also writes a demeaning song called Weasley Is Our King to lampoon and insult Ron's Quidditch goalkeeper skills. It was the creation of such music, along with the insults hurled at Arthur and Molly Weasley and Lily Potter, that led to Harry and George Weasley beating Draco.[30] The aggression resulted in both of them (along with Fred Weasley) being banned forever from Quidditch — although this order was revoked after Dolores Umbridge left the school. The-inquisitorial-squad-receive-awards-600x0-c-default Later, Draco joins the Inquisitorial Brigade and clearly enjoys the powers granted to him, so he starts to use them disadvantageously against other students, especially Harry and his friends. At one point, he finds Harry leaving his last Dumbledore's Army meeting and receives fifty points for reporting what happened to Umbridge. Draco was also among the members of the organization who detained Harry and his friends while trying to discover Sirius Black's then-whereabouts. The moment Umbridge tries to carry out her threat
With the High Inquisitor gone, the remaining members of Dumbledore's Army perform a series of Stunning Charms and Disarming Charms in order to escape the office; Draco ends up being hit with Ginny Weasley's excellent Boggart Counter Hex[31]. Eventually, it is revealed that Hermione had lied about the weapon and that Umbridge had been taken by a herd of Centaurs; Therefore, all six members of the DA fly to London, but precisely to the Ministry of Magic, and participate in the battle that follows. During the battle, his father, Lucius Malfoy, poses as a Death Eater and is imprisoned in Azkaban for his crimes. Draco is noticeably shaken and blames Harry for what happened; leading to an attempt to attack him at the end of the school year with the help of Vicente Crabbe and Gregório Goyle[32]. However, other members of the DA come to Harry's defense and fire a series of spells and jinxes at the same time, causing the trio to end up looking like "three gigantic slugs crammed into Hogwarts uniforms"[33].
sixth year
During 1996, Draco, in his father's place, joins the Death Eaters. However, despite constantly boasting about his "achievement", Draco, over the course of the year, comes to fear even more the seemingly impossible task of assassinating Albus Dumbledore. It is implied that the mission, given by Lord Voldemort himself, is given with the intention of punishing Lucius for his poor performance during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. In addition to the fear and constant pressure, the boy also starts to carry the safety of his family on his shoulders, given that the Malfoys' well-being depended on his success with the mission[34]. Draco-enter-in-borgin-and-burkes Draco in front of Borgin and Burkes, preparing to talk to Mr. Borgin With the task given, Draco devises a plan involving an old Vanishing Cabinet that resided at Hogwarts in order to bring some Death Eaters into the castle in order to help him with his mission to assassinate Dumbledore. In his previous school year, Malfoy learned that his housemate, Graham Montague, had been forced into this cupboard by the Weasley twins and, as a last resort to get out of the cupboard, Montague managed to Apparate to a a place similar to a limbo, being able to hear some exterior noises that were possibly made both at Hogwarts and at Borgin and Burkes[36]. In the middle of the summer vacation, Draco discusses the possibility of there being a pair of cabinets inside the old and obscure shop of evil artifacts with Mr. Borgin, the owner of the establishment. The boy comes to the conclusion that, if the broken furniture were repaired, the cabinets could function as a type of secret passage to Hogwarts. Therefore, Malfoy orders Borgin to keep his shop's cupboard safe during his repair with the school's cupboard, revealing his dark mark as proof of his loyalty to Voldemort and ordering Fenrir Greyback to threaten the merchant[37]. The meeting ends up being either
brought to life briefly by Harry, Ron and Hermione. However, while Harry becomes suspicious of Draco's activities, Ron and Hermione dismiss such possibilities, stating that Malfoy was merely bluffing. Already on the way to school, aboard the Hogwarts Express, Draco betrays his mission to his fellow Slytherins and, consequently, lets Harry overhear part of the conversation. He later threatens Potter by hexing him with the Body-Bind Charm and, in revenge for Harry's claims about his father being a Death Eater, Draco steps on his face, breaking his nose.[38] Draco finds the opposite pair from the Vanishing Cabinet inside the Room of Requirement Throughout the year, focused on repairing the Vanishing Cabinet, Draco goes through several visible changes in his life. He appears to lose interest in Quidditch and allows—possibly paying—a housemate to take over his Seeker position on the Slytherin team.[39] He also becomes negligent about his schoolwork, missing two Transfiguration classes and failing to fulfill his prefect duties, which he typically abused like the previous school year. Another obvious change is that Draco stops trusting Snape, being willing to defame him and treat him disrespectfully. Socially, Malfoy, using Polyjuice Potion, forces Crabbe and Goyle to take on the forms of other people to help him with his efforts in the Room of Requirement and, while refusing to say why[40], he starts to distance himself even more of the duo. Surprisingly, the boy also begins to spend his time making fun of Harry and his friends less and less, despite there being countless possibilities. His physical appearance also begins to show his stress, such as his skin becoming even paler, his loss of hair, and the constant increase in dark circles under his eyes. Twice throughout the year, fearing that he would not be able to fix the closet, Draco resorted to trying desperate for murder, like t
Twice throughout the year, fearing that he would not be able to repair the cupboard, Draco resorted to desperate assassination attempts, such as trying to give Dumbledore a cursed necklace[41] and a poisoned bottle of mead[42]; both failed attempts resulted in the injury of two innocent people. As time passes, his stress begins to affect him adversely, causing him to even confess his fears to Myrtle Warren, a resident ghost at the school. On one of these occasions, Harry meets Draco and the pair end up fighting a tremendous duel. This duel results in Draco being injured due to Harry's misuse of the Sectumsempra Curse[43]. Later, given his great effort, Draco manages to repair the Vanishing Cabinet and uses it to let at least six Death Eaters into the castle: Corban Yaxley, Alecto and Amycus Carrow, Gibbon, Thorfinn Rowle and the vicious werewolf Fenrir Greyback. Proceeding to the top of the Astronomy Tower, Draco is able to corner and disarm Dumbledore, who, in contrast, is significantly weak. Draco-trying-kills-Dumbledore Draco, emotionally shaken, corners Dumbledore However, when he finally has the opportunity to assassinate him, Draco is thrown into internal conflict due to Dumbledore's willingness to protect his family, telling him to "come to the right side".[44] In short, Malfoy is not capable of committing the murder, given that, during the time the pair spend talking alone, Dumbledore concludes that the boy was incapable of killing him[45]. As predicted, Draco is ultimately unable to carry out such a task and, instead, ends up lowering his wand. Snape, who had made an Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa Malfoy in case Draco failed, uses a Killing Curse against the headmaster; Snape promptly takes Draco off the school grounds, presumably to safety.[46]
However, when Draco disarms Dumbledore, he unknowingly ends up gaining the loyalty of the Elder Wand, one of the three Deathly Hallows. After the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, Draco no longer returns to Hogwarts, given that he had been an accomplice, albeit reluctant, in the murder of Albus Dumbledore — mainly for letting Death Eaters into the castle —. The royal status of the crime is placed upon him and, along with the fear of the Dark Lord's wrath, Draco is driven to seek refuge, accompanied by his family, in Voldemort, in the hope of carrying out his orders and avoiding even more negative highlights. His abrupt departure from Hogwarts leaves Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle surprisingly lonely.[47]
seventh year
In the middle of the summer of 1997, Draco, reluctantly, ends up becoming an even more righteous member of the Death Eaters, as such, the boy participates in several of the organization's missions. Due to his contribution to the murder of Albus Dumbledore, Voldemort frees his father, Lucius, from Azkaban. Eventually, Draco witnesses Charity Burbage's death and tortures Thorfinn Rowle at the Dark Lord's command. Judging by later comments made by Vincent Crabbe, during this time, the Malfoy family apparently lost much of its influence among Death Eater social circles, given that, for the most part, Lord Voldemort stopped favoring Lucius and began giving preference for Bellatrix Lestrange and Severus Snape, placing them, respectively, on their favorites podium. Narcissa-and-draco-in-malfoy-manor-1050x0-c-default Draco is called by his parents to confirm Harry Potter's identity Draco is in his seventh year at Hogwarts and, during the Easter holidays, he is seen at his home at Malfoy Manor. The boy is then called by his parents to confirm the identities of Harry, Ron and Hermione — the trio who had so far been captured by a group of Kidnappers led by Fenrir Greyback — but, however, he shows great hesitation in doing so. . Eventually, when Hermione, under the Cruciatus Curse, lies to Bellatrix about the whereabouts of Godric Gryffindor's sword, Draco is sent to the cellar to fetch the goblin Griphook and obtain confirmation of the young woman's story. Later, when a conflict ensues, Draco has his wand taken by Harry and the entire Malfoy family is detained in the Manor by the Dark Lord himself.
During the Battle of Hogwarts
Once at school and before the start of the Battle of Hogwarts, Draco, along with Crabbe and Goyle, chooses to remain in the castle, while other students evacuate Hogwarts, in order to deliver Harry Potter personally to Lord Voldemort. Given Lucius' previous remarks alluding to "forgiveness", it is likely that Draco was attempting to undertake such a task in order to redeem his family's failure in the eyes of the Dark Lord. Eventually, he, accompanied by Crabbe and Goyle, follows the trio to the Room of Requirement, and there, Draco attempts to capture Harry and retrieve the item the boy was trying to locate. However, Draco ends up not being able to exert the same degree of control over his friends that he was able to previously, which causes Crabbe — in his insatiable attempt to murder Harry — to cast the Firefire Curse and cause the total destruction of the entire environment; Draco, along with Goyle, is saved by Harry, Ron and Hermione, while Crabbe, however, is killed during the fire. At a later point, the trio sees Draco again in the middle of the battle; Malfoy pleaded with a Death Eater that he was on his side in the fight. Harry stuns the Death Eater while Ron punches Draco, calling him a "two-faced son of a bitch", as this was the second time that the three of them saved the boy's life that same night[48]. After Voldemort's defeat, Draco was seen alongside his parents sitting in the Great Hall. The family was described as "not knowing whether or not to be at the victory celebrations"[49]. Although he did not know it, the moment he disarmed Dumbledore before his death, Draco was able to master the Elder Wand - something that resulted in the final defeat of Lord Voldemort at the hands of Harry Potter -. This is due to the fact that the Dark Lord was not able to fully understand the true loyalty of the ancient object and that the moment he disarmed Draco, Harry was able to completely master the Elder Wand.
