In a town where almost all the inhabitants are magical, Shiho, a sweets alchemist, opens a candy shop where no candy is made with magic, but with science, the reason for this is because she wants to show the world that there is nothing more amazing with science. Her shop is doing very well, which is why she has a few enemies, so to speak, and among them is a witch, who always plans to steal Shiho's candy recipe, since he really likes the sweets she creates. One day, when Shiho goes to her laboratory, she finds a Candy Golem, whom she decides to name Emu. At first, Shiho is very suspicious of Emu, believing that she was made by someone planning to spy on the candy store, but later decides to let Emu live with her since she needs help at the candy store, although she will keep an eye on Emu if she behaves suspiciously.

Personality

Emu is a very cheerful and affectionate Golem, who looks for the good in everything and acts affectionately towards Shiho, who rejects all such affection. Emu is also very obedient to Shiho, wanting to please her in any way so that Shiho considers her a friend, regardless of even something very strange like being eaten (although she doesn't feel pain). Emu is also insistent on certain things, such as asking Shiho to eat her food and/or being her friend. It could be said that this is because her existence was made to please others, and in this case, it would be Shiho. Emu doesn't understand why Shiho doesn't seem to like what Emu does for her. She feels that she isn't doing enough and is determined to improve herself in order to become Shiho's friend. Being created for one reason only, Emu does not have any desires or fears of her own, although she may gradually achieve them if she decides to focus on what she really wants besides pleasing Shiho.

Taiyaki, Shiho, makes Shiho happy and does whatever she asks. She wants to be Shiho's friend and have a life full of joy with her, and she also wants Shiho to eat her.

She is a Candy Golem with long pink hair and short bangs. Part of her hair is tied into two buns on the sides of her head. She wears candy-shaped accessories in her hair and on her dress. Emu has a habit of holding Shiho's hand whenever they go somewhere, as she is afraid of getting lost and never seeing Shiho again. Emu wants to be eaten because she saw Shiho eat a sweet, and from there she believes that her destiny is to be eaten by Shiho, the good thing is that she wouldn't feel pain at least, but even if it didn't happen, Emu wouldn't feel nor does she feel pain for anything that can hurt. Although Emu doesn't have the basic need of eating, Emu's favorite food is taiyaki, which was the first thing he tried, and from then on it became his favorite food.

Shiho has short gray hair and green eyes. She wears a typical scientist uniform. She is 159 cm tall. Shiho has a sister named Shizuku, who is a witch. Her sister is very affectionate and caring toward her, although Shiho acts distant toward her because she resents the affectionate care she gives her, although she is fond of Shizuku. Some of the townspeople laugh at Shiho for her passion for science, saying that she has an obsession with proving that science is better than magic, and she's not entirely wrong.

He is a purple cat with cyan highlights. He has yellow eyes. His name is Rui, the wizard's cat who always schemes to steal Shiho's sweets. He can transform into a human, though he prefers his cat form. He is a bit of a mocker, agile, who doesn't pay attention to others, only to his master. In his human form, Rui is 182cm tall.

The witch has orange-yellow eyes and messy, peach-tipped hair. He is 173cm tall. His name is Tsukasa. He often tries to learn Shiho's sweets recipe, thus becoming one of the sweet alchemist's rivals. Tsukasa is someone proud and annoying to many, but he cares about his loved ones like his sister, another witch who unlike her brother works in a fast food place, and his half-human cat Rui, whom he pampers too much.
