Loid is characterized by being a cold and emotionless man, as he usually doesn't get swayed by emotions. Loid is an attractive man with blonde, short, and tousled hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. His hair is often styled backwards to some degree, depending on the situation. He has a rather tall build with a slim and athletic physique. When he's at home, he usually wears a white shirt with long black pants. When out of the house, he is often seen wearing a light green three-piece suit with a red tie. He wears a lapel pin on the left lapel of his suit that has the emblem of WISE. As a psychiatrist, he wears a white lab coat over his shirt and tie.
