Red ribbon army

Android 18 is affiliated with the Red Ribbon Army in Dragon Ball because she is one of the Red Ribbon Androids created by the Red Ribbon Army's chief scientist, Dr. Gero. The Red Ribbon Army is a military dictatorship where orders from superiors are absolute, but members can pursue their own ambitions. In the aftermath of the Red Ribbon Army's defeat by Goku, a surviving member known as Doctor Gero continues the group's legacy and creates a series of powerful artificial humanoids known as Androids as part of his vendetta against Goku. The group was generally well received by reviewers The Red Ribbon Androids are a group of androids and cyborgs created by Dr. Gero and the Red Ribbon Army. Their goal is to get revenge on Goku for the army's destruction. They serve as the main antagonists of the Android Saga of Dragon Ball Z and the Super Android 13 movie. This group consists of about 10 members. They also appear in Dragon Ball Super:Super Hero. Dr. Gero's method of converting a human into an android halts their aging and makes them immune to natural death, effectively making them semi-immortal, but they can only be killed when they are destroyed.

history and background

Lazuli, better known as Android 18, is a main character in the Dragon Ball franchise. She is an android created by Dr. Gero. She has blonde hair and a stoic attitude. Unlike Androids 19 and 16, 18 and her twin brother Android 17 were originally humans turned into androids by Dr. Gero.Dr. Gero awakened Androids 17 and 18 to fight the Z Fighters. However, they did not like being controlled. After 17 killed Dr. Gero, 18 awakened Android 16, and they left in search of Goku. Vegeta followed them and challenged 18 to a battle. At first he appeared to be winning. 18 revealed she was toying with Vegeta, and broke his arm. Trunks entered the battle, but 18 broke his sword. Unlike their future counterparts, the androids were not interested in killing anyone except Goku, so they left. Before they did, 18 kisses Krillin, which made him fall in love with her.When the androids stole a food truck and drove it to Goku's house, 18 thought that driving was a waste of time when flying there would be quicker. When they arrived at Kame House, Piccolo fought 17 until Cell showed up to absorb the androids. After absorbing 17, Cell tried to absorb 18, who threatened to self destruct. When Tien attacks Cell, 18 was able to escape with 16. After Goku got Tien and Piccolo to safety, Cell searched for 18 until Vegeta appeared and fought him, but made a deal with him so Cell could absorb 18. Krillin was assigned to use a remote to destroy 18, but was unable to do it, as he was in love with her. He crushed the remote. 18, 16, and Krillin fought Cell, but only Trunks was able to damage him. In the end, Cell opened his tail up and absorbed 18, transforming into his perfect form.

history and background

During the Cell Games Saga, Cell received a devastating injury from Gohan, and threw up Android 18, reverting back to his second form. Afterward, it was revealed that Krillin was in love with 18. She was no longer evil by now, albeit she - unlike her counterpart in Future Trunks' timeline - was never evil, rather being measured, if brutal, in response to threats, but otherwise aloof and indifferent about everyone except her brother, 17, and to a lesser extent, 16.Seven years later, Krillin was married to 18 and had a daughter named Marron; while she remained outwardly aloof as before, inside she was a deeply loving wife and caring mother. 18 entered the World Martial Arts tournament, and in the finals, made a deal with Hercule: She let him win, and he give her twice the prize money; his "winning punch" being so weak to her that she almost reneged on the deal out of annoyance, but she still honoured it. After going to Kami's Lookout with several of the other Z Fighters' friends and family, 18 was turned into chocolate by Super Buu, along with most of the others, and eaten. She was wished back with the Dragon Balls near the end of the final battle.

Personality

Android 18 from Dragon Ball is generally calm, confident, and cool, but can also be sarcastic and hotheaded. In her early appearances in Dragon Ball Z, she was sometimes arrogant and annoyed by her brother Android 17's behavior. For example, she refused to run away from Cell when he threatened to absorb her. Android 18 and her partner Krillin are also shown to be very protective of their daughter Marron. In the Majin Buu Saga, Battle of Gods Saga, and Resurrection F Saga, they are often concerned about who will protect Marron before major battles. In an alternate future timeline, Android 18 becomes a ruthless killer who, along with Android 17, terrorizes Earth for 20 years.She is willing to stand up for herself and others who she believes are being treated unfairly, and she is not afraid to speak her mind even in situations where others might feel intimidated. Overall, Android 18's strong will, determination, and desire for independence all point to a Type Eight Enneagram personality. While 18 can easily be considered one of the less evil villains in Dragon Ball history, she has committed some questionable acts: She did stole clothes from a store, as well a van from two casual men who were transporting boxes.
