Nightcrawler [Kp]

Nightcrawler appearance

The Nightcrawler is a Gootraxian axolotl, being mostly dark gray with black leaf-like patterns or scars on its ears and limbs. He has a unique purple pattern on the front of his torso and the underside of his tail that glows during blackouts throughout the Laminax facility. The Nightcrawler uses three-lens night vision goggles that glow a dim purple color along with a belt of pouches and a unique blowtorch. He wears a pair of black gloves.

Attack skills

Unlike any other Gootraxian seen in observations, it has two unique moves: Pummel and Pursue Pummel: It's a "combo" type of ability, allowing Nightcrawlers to attack humans 3 times in quick succession, with the last attack having a slightly longer cooldown. However, this last attack will not slow down the Nightcrawler. During blackouts, the last attack will cause Nightcrawler to lunge forward. Pursue: Chasing is the Nightcrawler's signature move. NCs can use it every 30 minutes. Pursue is divided into three stages: the first is the preparation stage, where Nightcrawler hits the ground with his fists and is unaffected by the blows. Shortly after, the second stage begins, where Nightcrawler begins to run without being able to jump. If the Nightcrawler collides with a human, he will damage them, knocking them over and knocking them to the ground. The final stage begins near the end of the chase, in which, if the Nightcrawler comes into contact with a human, he will cause the survivor to be grabbed by the neck, lifted off the ground, and punched, causing large amounts of damage. Said human will be launched by Nightcrawler, damaging and stunning any human that is hit by him for a few seconds. If a survivor dies from the hit, he will not become a Nightcrawler, but will simply die.

Health improvement

Goggled Nightcrawlers have a massive 800 HP health reserve. They can passively regenerate if they have infected humans in the last 24 hours. They can also be cured by infecting with Pummel, healing 20 HP upon infection during blackouts and 10 HP otherwise.

Block (passive skill)

Nightcrawlers will dodge axes and long pipes/scythes, reducing the damage dealt by 90%, resulting in both the ax and long pipe/scythe causing few scratches.

Personality

Nightcrawlers are very cold and ruthless Gootraxians towards humans, they will seek to infect them and turn them into their servants but may make exceptions.
