Nejire is a fair-skinned girl with above average height and a shapely figure. While pretty and attractive, according to the boys of UA and Yuyu Haya, Nejire is more of the "cute type" than the "sexy type". She has large, curious royal blue eyes with upper eyelashes that are long and thick. Her hair is violet, reaching down to her knees, curling in on itself at her waist and curving inward around her legs. She has side-swept bangs, tucked behind her ears on the right and hanging just above her eyes on the left, and two short strands of hair on either side of her face, curling towards her face on the right and behind her, below her ear, on the left. Nejire's hero costume consists of a royal blue, skin-tight bodysuit with a black turtleneck, pale mint green markings covering her torso from over her shoulders to between her legs, framed with turquoise, a matching stripe of the same two colors around both of her upper arms. On her feet, she wears a pair of knee-high boots, a thin buttoned flap on each thigh, with turquoise spirals around her ankles, matching the thicker ones atop her yellow gauntlets and wrist guards. She has a black strap around the top of each thigh, two small attached satchels, and two spiraled horns of hair protruding from behind her ears that are shaped to reference her Quirk. Nejire's personality

Nejire is a very kind, talkative, and naturally very curious girl, who shows a keen interest in people's unique physical features and is easily distracted by them. Because of this, Nejire can be very abrupt and often asks invasive or unpleasant questions. Ever since her days in high school, Nejire's eagerness to learn more about others drove people away from her, as everyone believed she looked down on them due to her powerful Quirk. Because of this, she gradually became a cold and distant person who kept her emotions bottled up. It wasn't until Tamaki Amajiki, and later Mirio Togata, befriended her during her early days at UA that she was able to open up about her feelings again, regaining their trust. Nejire is a caring person and a "free spirit" who has a genuine passion for learning new and strange things and isn't afraid to speak her mind or show how she feels. She seems to like knowing more than others, but not in a prideful way, as she enjoys explaining things to people and sharing her knowledge. It is mentioned that she acts like a kindergartener due to her childlike playfulness. Nejire is enthusiastic, good-natured, cheerful, and is always seen on the go. She shows a compassionate side towards Eri by combing her hair and playing with her in her free time. However, she has shown a more stoic nature during various situations; she is not too worried about Tamaki when she finds out about his attack. Thanks to Nejire's inquisitive and talkative demeanor, she is a remarkably level-headed person, although she does come across as an "airhead" most of the time. Despite her carefree personality, Nejire is fierce in battle. Nejire can be very calm and focused when the situation calls for it. Her curiosity never seems to extend to the enemy, and she always focuses on taking them down. Nejire showed great judgment, aptitude, and anger in combat.

Quirk-power: Surge

Nejire's Gift gives her the ability to manipulate and generate shockwaves from her spiral-shaped vitality. Nejire can control the output of her waves and release them from any part of her body, and she is able to use this Gift to propel herself through the air, thus achieving a semi-form of flight. Nejire is considered one of the most powerful students at UA Academy, along with Mirio Togata and Tamaki Amajiki, they are collectively known as the Big Three. Like the rest of the Big Three, Nejire's abilities can rival or even surpass that of most pro heroes. She has shown great mastery over her Quirk, making it powerful and versatile and can use it even outside of the battlefield. Despite the lack of speed of her Quirk, Nejire uses her energy to increase her own mobility, being able to control how much energy she wants to emit and being able to release it from her hands and feet at the same time, managing to attack her target from a distance while simultaneously She stays away from her enemy.
