History

On the Wandering Isle, he developed his superior fighting skills and desire to explore and discover new lands (and new ingredients for his legendary brews) like the traveling pandaren who left Pandaria thousands of years ago. Chen Thunderbeer was born on the Wandering Isle, and belongs to a lineage of pandaren more curious and adventurous than those who decided to remain in Pandaria, hidden and without any relationship with the outside world. Since Chen had never seen the home of the pandaren, he often ventured into the Staff Forest in search of inspiration. During his training as a wrestler, Chen became a great friend of Strongbo. They both knew that one day they would have to face each other to decide who would be the master of the Wandering Island, reaching the rank of "geomaster". However, over time, Chen was overcome with a desire to travel to unknown lands. On the day of the confrontation with Bo, Chen did not appear, he had left the island in search of adventure, putting his traveling spirit before even the wedding of his brother Chon Po Stormstout.
