Banica was born in Gasto in the Beelzenian Empire in November EC 296, as the daughter of Muzuri and Megour Conchita. The night after her birth, a celebration was held in her honor, where the family feasted on a Baemu pig. Due to her young age, she was the only one not to partake in the meal. As the years passed, Banica's family and servants suffered from the Gluttony Disease, which they had contracted from eating the Baemu pig. The disease forced them to continually eat to avoid death, often leading them to devour unusual and lethal items, also known as "impossible foods." The only unaffected one, Banica, had already come to understand that the people in the mansion were suffering from a "strange disease." Because of this, she was tormented by her increasingly deranged mother, who terrorized her when she refused to eat and forced her food down her throat. Over time, the girl grew obedient out of fear of Megour's abuse. In January of EC 306, a famine swept through the Conchita territory, leaving the household short of food. In March, Banica witnessed Megour's attempt to devour the dead servants and the subsequent murder of Muzuri in the ensuing melee. With Megour's death, Banica fell into depression and locked herself in the basement food storage room. Lonely and uncomfortable in the room, she soon met Arte and Pollo, her new servants. Before long they became close friends, and the twins accompanied her everywhere.

Relations

In June EC 311, Banica became engaged to Carlos Marlon, the third prince of Marlon.[1] She soon traveled to Marlon with her servants, and nervously met with her fiancé and his parents for the first time. Over several months, the two grew much closer and warmed to the idea of ​​marriage. During this time, however, Banica regularly resisted eating her regular portions at meals out of shame over her weight and gluttonous eating habits.[4] In February 312,[1] Banica attended a dinner party to celebrate her engagement to Carlos becoming official. Over the next three years, Banica studied food further and became known as a gourmand in Beelzenia by EC 315. During Grabia's harvest festival held in August EC 319, Banica arrived unannounced and participated in its tomato eating competition, winning by an overwhelming majority. [1] Due to her contributions to the empire, the young noblewoman came to be well-regarded as "Noble Gourmand Banica". In August EC 321, her father died of a heart attack, causing Banica to fall into another depression, again taking comfort in food. Two months later, Empress Juno, who had custody of the family's territories, named Banica as her father's successor, and she took her title as one of the Five Dukes. The next morning she woke up and saw the cup, realizing it was filled with Baemu Pig's blood upon smelling it. Consumed by her curiosity, Banica drank it after minimal hesitation, making the contract. Through the Demon's power, Banica's figure slimmed down and she fully recovered. With her new abilities, the revitalized gourmand began tasting the foods she had yet to taste.

In November of EC 324, Banica refused to meet with anyone out of respect for her previous illness, transferring the management and supervision of her territories to her two servants. After withdrawing from the outside world, Conchita became more and more attached to her dining room. Beginning in EC 325, Banica had hired many cooks throughout the year to serve her meals, but, because they were disgusted with her appetite, she grew irritated with them, ordering Arte and Pollo to murder each cook, serving their corpses for her meals as punishment.

Relationship

Banica later hired the famous Joseph as her next cook. As time went by, she realized that he was actually her ex-fiancé, Carlos. Their relationship ended up culminating in a night they spent together when she was drunk.

When imperial messengers began arriving with summons for Banica over the following months, she repeatedly ignored them. After the imperial family sent another messenger with an escort of twenty soldiers in April, Banica's servants killed the messenger outright.

To deal with the soldiers outside the mansion, Banica raised a horde of undead led by Arte and Pollo. When a terrified Carlos recognized the resurrected Grand Chamberlain, Ron, Banica explained how the undead were all the mansion's former servants. Seeing Charles cough up blood and collapse, Banica realized that she was poisoned before watching her lover die, unaffected by herself. She then ordered Arte and Pollo to cook her beloved. Banica served his body for dinner and ate his remains delicately. As she enjoyed all the new flavors she tasted, Banica broke down in tears.
