Rise to Fame

Erik Arteaga, better known as Burberry Erry, gained notoriety in the skateboarding world through his unique and skate tricks. Punk skater who's known for his idiosyncratic tricks and his modeling gigs for high-end labels like Balenciaga. He's also known for his appearance at Kanye West's DONDA 2 listening party alongside his longtime friend Playboi Carti. Lastly, he's popular for his distinctive liberty spikes. but likes to his hair down too when he's not in public. Has worked with Marilyn Manson, Kanye, Opium and the brand Balenciaga as a model.

Family life

His birth name is Erik Arteaga. His father left at an early age, so his mother was constantly working to support the family on her own. In an interview he said, "I didn't have a role model. The only thing I had was literally my skateboard." He began skateboarding at his local skate club at the age of 11. 

Opium

Opium is an American record label and rap collective that was founded in 2019 by Playboi Carti. The label, which is based in Atlanta, Georgia, currently holds four acts all of whom are natives to the city; Playboi Carti himself, rappers Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely, and the duo Homixide Gang. He is also part of the label.
