Lola leopard (character)

Lola is a short, spotted leopard with golden fur, she wears a blue velvet circus attire dress with a sparkling matching hat with a bright blue feather in it. she also wears red lipstick Lola was Born on the African Veldt. she studied voice acting and wants to get married if she can find the right guy. she speaks gently like an aristocratic lady from the 80's.

The Circus playhouse band

the circus playhouse band (CPB) is the Animatronic band that plays at the circus playhouse and food emporium resturaunt. the band consists of Lionel Lion, Charlie "choo choo" Chimp, Lola Leopard, Barney bear, Tex S Tyger, Ellie Elephant, Gerry Giraffe, and Batt E Bird, they met in a circus where they were overworked, being forced to live in cages and act like feral animals, but late one night when the boss was away, they took the instruments in the circus tent and learned how to play them, the next day they all left the circus they worked at. for awhile afterwards they preformed animal weddings, and one line gigs untill they were hired into the Food emporium where they decided to stay and play songs for the guests.

Lionel Lion (character)

Lionel is the ringmaster of the band, he wears normal 80's ringmaster atire with a tophat with a purple rim. he was Born in the jungle but moved the Bronx zoo at an early age, eventually ran away with the circus where he met with the other band members and founded the circus playhouse band. he plays the stock market in his spare time and enjoys making friends. but he gets upset when someone introduces the show without his permission.

Charlie "Choo Choo" Chimp (character)

Charlie Chimp plays the piano for the circus playhouse band, he wears a tiny straw hat and loves cracking jokes. he was born in Kenya Africa before heading to Hollywood as an extra in jungle movies before joining the circus and meeting the rest of the band members, the piano synthesizer he plays was custom built by himself.

Barney Bear (character)

Barney Bear is the Drummer of the band,he is a black bear who wears a green vest and matching bowler hat. he smokes and has a raspy voice do to it. he was born in Yellowstone National Park but left to join the circus as a dancing bear where he met the rest of the band. he wants to someday move to New York and become a studio musician.

Tex S Tyger (character)

Tex S Tyger is a Siberian Tyger who wears a cowboy hat and gold medalian. born in Luckenback Texas, his parents were both itinerant circus tigers. he learned guitar on his own and gigged in county rock bars in Austin before joining the circus playhouse band. he hopes to star in movies.

Ellie Elephant (character)

Ellie Elephant is the youngest member of the band, she wears a pink tutu and holds a mini pink parosaul, she was born in the circus, her mother was an indian elephant while her father was an african elephant. she studdied ballet and voice acting before joining the circus playhouse band.

Gerry Giraffe (character)

Gerry Giraffe is mostly background vocals and behind the scene helper for the rest of the band, he was born between train stops back in the circus before joining the band. he does violenter work as a civil defense spotter on his day off. Gerry is a light yellow geraffe covered in brown spots.

Batt E Bird (character)

Batt E Bird is... well how do we explain him? he was born on a farm in Pennsylvania, his mother was a duck and his father was a rooster. tried to fly one day and landed on his head... i mean he can ride the unicycle pretty well. hes a white bird with red feathers on his tail and back of his head, he wears a blue shirt and mailman like hat, he also carries around a green box filled with bags of popcorn.

Starvin Marvin (character)

Starvin Marvin is a Chef clown who works at the circus playhouse and food emporium, not much is known about him but he can make a damn good pizza... and spaghetti! his hair is puffy and dyed bright red, he wears a sky-blue shirt with a golden rim, a matching hat, and darker blue puffy pants.

the circus playhouse and food emporium is the resturaunt the circus playhouse band plays in. it has an 80's vintage arcade with a full size carousel, a showroom, and a private meeting room groups can rent out for meetings or parties.

Lionels show preforming animatronic has the following movements: head raise, head lower, head turns, jaw, eyes left right and down, eyebrow raise, body lean, body straighten, body turns, left arm raise, left arm turn, lower left arm in, lower left arm out, right arm rotate, lower right arm raise.

whats happening

the circus playhouse and food emporium is getting less and less customers due to the lack of locations and overshadowing by "The big two" every last location is bound to close by 1990.

"The big two"

"The big two" is referring to the two giant animatronic themed pizzaria franchises, Showbiz pizza place and Chuck e Cheese.

events (1981-1982)

jewlcor Inc wanted to make an animatronic themed restaurant, around half a year later fragments of their progress were released to the Press, they hired AVG productions (who were known for their work in theme parks and miscellaneous single movement advertising Animatronics) to build their animatronic show: Lionel lion as the ringmaster Barney Bear on the drumbs, Lola leopard the head female vocalist, Charlie chimp on piano. Tex s tyger on guitar, Ellie elephant as the secondary female vocalist and voice of the children, and the two side characters batty bird as the troublemaker, and Gerry the giraffe as backup vocals. they hired Bobby Gosh to write songs for their animatronic band, Bobby gosh decided on voice actors and shows were programmed under his watch. the first location in Hollywood Florida opened with a bang, they held a contest where people could submit photos from their visit and win prizes. the characters got more spotlight by being part of citywide events, only a few months after the first location opened, two more were already in the works, opening in December the same year.
