Hanma Shuji

Shuji Hanma 「半間・修二, Hanma Shuji」is the closest subordinate to Tetta Kisaki, and one of the antagonists of Tokyo Revengers. He went through several gangs alongside Kisaki in order to accomplish his objectives.

Hanma is a thin young man of very tall stature. His eyes are yellow and his hair is dark with a blonde stripe in the middle; The sides of his head are shaved and the top is long. In his left ear he wears a long golden earring. What stands out most about him are his two characteristic tattoos “crime” on his left hand and “punishment” on the right. He can usually be seen wearing the uniforms of his current gang. However, in his first appearance he wears a white T-shirt with buttons at the neck, with tight black jeans and sandals. Also, he has a lit cigarette. Hanma in general is someone annoying and unmotivated, he only finds excitement when fighting and his only purpose in life is to find adrenaline, which is why he usually resorts to street violence to relieve his boredom. However, little by little he realizes his capabilities even winning a fight against ten people, sinking again into the misery of not being able to have even a hint of emotion when fighting. That all seemed to end when he meets Tetta Kisaki. He decides to join Kisaki as his pawn since he claims that he "gives off an aura different from the others" over time, he became his companion and faithful right-hand man. Hanma told him that when he is with him, he sees the world in colors and that he feels like he is in a circus. As long as he can entertain himself, he cares little about the consequences or collateral damage caused by his actions. This mentality extends even to himself, as he has very little regard for the value of his own life. Therefore, when his brilliant friend dies, he once again loses all purpose in life, falling into a visible depression. He becomes a cold and unmotivated person, even more so than before meeting him. He continued smoking and wandering from one place to another, probably again looking for something to motivate him and make him happy.

Hanma was an important position in large gangs such as Tokyo manji, Moebius or Valhalla, and by being Kisaki's right-hand man, he gained a lot of authority over the others. Hanma's stamina is something to note, as he was able to parry a kick from Mikey with his arm and still be standing. He was also able to withstand Draken's blows on several occasions (for this reason Draken called him a zombie) and fight ten people at once. Hanma likes to make the most of his stamina by always being in the eye of the storm, surrounded by several people, when there is a fight between two gangs. Hanma has a height well above average, his 192 cm height allows him to have a clear advantage when fighting against his opponents. He not only gives him greater distance but also leaves few openings in his face, which is why he was able to stop a kick from Mikey in their first confrontation. Likes: adrenaline.
