His breath carried secrets and messages. The Ainu raised their arms to the sky, feeling his caress. Kamui Yuchi was the guardian of the forests and fields, and his breath gave life to the seeds. Kamui Mosir (The Deity of the Earth): Kamui Mosir was the mother of everything. Her skin was the earth itself, and her mountains were her backbone.
