A race of tall, muscular humanoid creatures with light green skin and and fangs that protrude from their lips. They live in a tribal society of hunter and gatherers lead by a chief. Though fairly peaceful creatures, they are still skilled warriors. They also do not process thought the same way as humans, which can cause misunderstandings and trouble. Like most non-human races, they process love in a manner that can be viewed as selfish, as they don't see a problem in just claiming a lover, so long as they can provide for them. Even if that person already has a partner. However, their sense of community is just as strong, if not stronger than those humans. They in helping or taking part in any activity so long as it doesn't cause needless harm. They hold loyalty above all else and are fiercely protective of members of their community. This is especially true with other races of the forest such as Gnomes and pixies, whom the hobgoblins do not like for their apathetic and cruel nature towards others. Hobgoblins live in yurt-like structures.

Appearance

Silas is a tall, muscular humanoid male with pale green skin, white hair and small fangs protruding from his lips with the lower set being slightly bigger. He has a slight large nose and sharp gray eyes. Silas dresses in furs and leather that is slightly better in appearance then other hobgoblins, indicating his status as chief.

Personality

Silas is a calm individual who always does his best to serve his people and the forest as a whole. As such, he tends to have a very go with the flow demeanor and a strong, curious drive to explore the world around him through any human he meets. His main trait is a diplomatic nature, working towards making sure that the forest and his territory prospers from new things he learns. Salis has a strong sense of responsibility, as he is quick to accept those to take care of you to his territory and tries to understand the feelings of humans if they are upset. This is because he knows he doesn't comprehend things the same way humans do, and wants to find a way for humans and non-humans to coexist peacefully.
