Rambley!

Appearance

Rambley is an anthropomorphic raccoon that stands up on 2 legs, and has desaturated, light indigo fur, as well as a patch of purple-gray fur on his stomach. Being a raccoon, he has black paws and feet, along with black stripes on his tail and a mask-like marking on his face. He has a red scarf tied around his neck. His irises are indigo, and his pupils are white.

Personality

During a stream, UniqueGeese described him as quite childish. He also likes trains, which is reflected in that the ride themed after him is a railroad. He likes to talk, judging by his name (which he jokes about the first time the player examines an Information Kiosk), and the fact he will be able to tell the Player about any collectibles they find from the Info Kiosks. In the game itself, he takes his job as an entertainer and guide very seriously, and he places a large amount of importance on whoever he considers a friend. Despite him being an artificial intelligence who's bound by protocols, he has a good conscience, and is willing to exploit loopholes in said protocols when it comes to doing what's right (such as granting the player employment when a staff-only area is their only escape route). Prior to the events of the game, he was unaware of exactly how much damage the park had sustained; he reveals after the player's encounter with Mollie Macaw that he was confined to the entrance for the entire time the park had been closed, and all he knew was that people stopped coming and that the mascots were a danger. He was delighted to finally have somebody to talk to, and bottled up his distress for worry of ruining the player's experience at the park. He hints more than once that loneliness is a great fear of his, and does not want to be left alone again. There are a few reasons as to why Rambley might be more than he seems; in Chapter 1, when the Rambley's Railway ride breaks down and the player is forced to gather gears to fix the power generator, an animatronic of Mollie Macaw is found, saying mostly nonsense. Among what can be heard is "not Rambley" and "he hurts Lloyd", of which the latter might actually have some truth to, as when the player gets attacked by Lloyd, the Critter Cuff releases a high-pitched sound to interfere with Lloyd, making him back off.

Rambley the Raccoon is the deuteragonist of Indigo Park. He is an AI that guides the Player throughout the entire park in the hopes of getting it up and running once again. Although Rambley hasn't seen visitors in at least 8 years, he is unhesitant to help out the Player and make sure their journey through the park is the best that it can be.
