Firey is a male contestant in Battle for Dream Island, Battle for Dream Island Again, IDFB, and Battle for BFB. He was the very first Battle for Dream Island character created making him the first character in object show history. In Battle for Dream Island, Firey competed on the Squishy Cherries until "Puzzling Mysteries", the Squashy Grapes until "Insectophobe's Nightmare", and Another Name until the merge in "A Leg Up in the Race". Although he won the competition, he didn't receive Dream Island because Leafy bought it from the Announcer as revenge for not letting her in the island. In Battle for Dream Island Again, Firey competed on Team No-Name, but switched to FreeSmart in "Intruder Alert". He ended up getting eliminated for the first time (chronologically) in "Meaty" with 14,028 dislikes, placing 16th overall. Despite this, he managed to survive long enough to appear in IDFB. In Battle for BFDI, Firey competed on The Losers! until the split came around in "The Escape from Four", when he stayed with Four. In Battle for BFB, Firey competed on the Have Nots until the merge in "The Game Has Changed". He was eliminated for the first time (in terms of release date order) in "The Tweested Temple" with 12,705 votes. He later appeared in "SOS (Save Our Show)", alongside a few other eliminated contestants from BFB.

appearance

Firey appears to be a flame. His outer flames are orange, his inner flame is yellow-orange, and his outline is burnt orange. In "Hurtful!" and prior episodes, his inner flame has a much more rugged look. Since "Insectophobe's Nightmare 2", his inner flame looks smoother.

personality

In BFDI, Firey spent a reasonable amount of time arguing and slapping Coiny. Despite spending a lot of time fighting with him, he is shown to be more independent than other contestants. In "Barriers and Pitfalls", he got to the end of the challenge by himself unlike the other original Squishy Cherries. He can also be quite forgetful; for example, in "Insectophobe's Nightmare 2", he forgot that lava could kill Leafy. By the end of Season 1, he develops more of a genuine understanding of his surroundings and interactions with the other characters, like acknowledging his unintentional cruelty to Leafy and revealing his thoughts on the conflicts around her. He also displays signs of genuine sincerity like when he reveals his true feelings to Leafy about her. In BFDIA however, Firey is a lot more of a minor character, not participating a lot in challenges. He is shown to get along with Gelatin in BFDIA 5, BFDIA 6, BFDIA 7 and BFDIA 8. He also “forgets” Leafy, however this is shown to be a ruse to save face. In the Battle for BFDI, Firey is shown to be a major Loser fan. This is shown when he names the team “The Losers!” and frequently relies on Loser for support. He gets along well and is shown to be a team player. However, that changes when Leafy joins the team. Firey is a very friendly person and is loyal to his friends and teammates, but he also rather dim-witted. In "Take the Tower", Gelatin (who was in disguise) was able to fool Firey to infiltrate his team's tower. He also believed that the real Flower was the impostor when Gelatin (who was pretending to be Flower) told him that.Firey loves to win. He also likes to be complimented, but he's hard to pin down. He doesn't fit neatly into any one category. Some categories he's part of include: deathly afraid of heights, deathly afraid of crying, unable to swim, and won Dream Island. Firey and Coiny are rivals. Firey is a fast runner, but Coiny isn't. Firey can cook without an oven, but Coiny can't.

Firey's immune to poison, but Coiny isn't. Firey loves chocolate. Wonder what Coiny thinks of chocolate... Did You Know?: Firey is the lightest of all BFDI characters, only being weighed down by his limbs. Abilities Fire physiology: Being a form of energy, Firey has all the traits, abilities, resistances, and weaknesses of fire, like burning or melting things and getting destroyed by water. This also makes him the lightest contestant of all BFDI characters (only being weighed down by his limbs). While he can be very dangerous when close, Firey seems to have control over his destructive qualities when sitting, touching items, or being inside a location or vehicle. Speed: Firey claims to be a fast runner, as shown when he demonstrates to the Squashy Grapes and participates in the challenge carrying Ice Cube by finishing the race in seconds. His movements and reflexes are also very fast; he can catch up with Coiny by continuously slapping him at an increasingly fast rate. The measurement of Firey's speed seems to be inconsistent since he is usually seen walking or running at the same speed as the other contestants.Weaknesses Water/Aquaphobia: Since he is fire, Firey is weak to water and can die when extinguished regardless of the quantity of water around him. For unknown reasons, when Firey's limbs touch any sources of water, Firey can feel pain from it. In worst-case scenarios, he also gets extinguished. Acrophobia: As shown in "Insectophobe's Nightmare" and other episodes, Firey has a fear of heights.

Firey and Flower share a few similarities: Both Firey and Flower placed 1st in a season. Both Firey and Flower's names begin with the letter F. Both Firey and Flower have a separate variation as a contestant. Both Firey and Flower (along with Puffball) have their own speaker boxes who have hosted. Both Firey and Flower are voiced by Michael. Firey is one of the three contestants who own a speaker box that hosted for the show, along with Flower and Puffball. He is also the only male to do this. Firey, along with Leafy, Bubble, Ice Cube, Cheese Orb, Pie, and the Announcer are the only characters to have their own personal recovery centers. Firey weighs less than 1/10th of an ounce, which was revealed in "Return of the Hang Glider" by Golf Ball; the same applies to Leafy and Bubble. Firey is the first character to have a plush, followed by Leafy, Pen, Firey Jr., Woody, Loser, Four, X, Rocky, Coiny, Marker, Two, Pin, Bubble and Evil Leafy. Firey is one of four contestants who have joined a team only due to being the last one picked. The others are Woody, Pen, and Snowball. Firey and Teardrop are the only contestants to be the sole member of a team. In Firey's case, he was the only member of Another Name after Coiny was eliminated and Tennis Ball was switched to the Squashy Grapes. Firey is the first contestant ever in BFDI to get individual immunity (in "Bowling, Now with Explosions!"). He’s also the only contestant to have this happen when the points where still being used. After David was eliminated, Firey was the only male with all limbs remaining. As of "The Escape from Four", Firey has retroactively placed better in BFB than he did in BFDIA. This is due to the split placing him in the final 14, already putting him ahead of his 16th place in season 2. Firey and Leafy are tied for the most times safe with the most votes at three. Firey is the first contestant to receive the most votes to stay more than once, let alone twice in a row. The other contestants who've done the same are Leafy, Gelatin, Grassy, Yellow Face, and Pillow. Out of the four times where the Have Nots lost, Firey received the most votes in three of their Cake at Stakes. "Who Stole Donut's Diary?" was the only instance where this didn't happen as Woody got the most votes instead. Firey competed on every single team that has ever lost multiple times in a row. Those teams being Squishy Cherries, Another Name, Team No-Name, and Have Nots. This was until The S! lost twice in a row in TPOT. Firey is currently the only Squishy Cherry to merge in more than one season. Coincidentally, Firey is the highest and lowest ranking merged contestant in BFDI and BFB, respectively. Firey, Flower, and Leafy are the only contestants who received a single digit ranking in every season they participated in. Firey has gotten eliminated for the first time in BFDIA 8. BFDIA 8 is also the first episode where he's not competing (since then he was the only contestant that competed in every episode). Firey is yet to be a competitor in a season of BFDI for more than 25 episodes. Firey is the last original contestant to be eliminated for the first time. Firey went the longest out of anyone on the Have Nots, as well as everyone on the three BFDI teams, without being eliminated for the first time. Counting both votes to save and eliminate, Firey and Bubble are tied for being the first safe in Cake at Stakes, at nine instances each.

Firey is the second contestant to get the fewest votes right after the episode where they got the most votes, the first being Bubble. Lollipop and Teardrop would later be third and fourth to have this happen. TPOT marks the first season without Firey. Firey is one of four contestants who have had their votes incorrectly displayed in an episode, along with Leafy, Gelatin, and David. In "Well Rested", the Firey Speaker Box switched the amount of dislikes Gelatin and Firey received.Firey was the first BFDI character ever created, as revealed in carykh's video "First BFDI Drawing EVER!". Coincidentally, he placed 1st in BFDI. This also makes him the first object show character ever created, as BFDI is the first object show on YouTube. It could be for the previous reasons that he is also the first character to be given an official plush. Firey is one of the many characters who are immune to lava. Despite this, he somehow dies in an explosion in "Lofty" and "Zeeky Boogy Doog". In episode 25, Coiny and Firey became friends. However, in Season 2, it appears as though they have become enemies again. But in BFB, they appear to be friends again. There is a very early prototype of Battle for Dream Island, called "Total Firey Island", with Firey as the main character, but he got eliminated. This makes Firey the only character with a pre-series. Firey has been barfed on by Rocky more than any other character. Firey's favorite screen in "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know" is a set of spikes descending upon a shape similar to Coiny, and vice-versa for Coiny. Firey and Coiny have slapped each other 299 times in Season 1. "No More Snow!" is the first episode to not show Firey (not counting the intro). Goof: Every so often, Firey's flames are not moving in most episodes. Firey's personal OMGs are "Oh My Spark" in BFDI Is Back, and "Oh My Oxygen" in various BFDI episodes.

Despite being fatally allergic to water, Firey is still able to salivate and sweat, as shown in "Firey's Candy Bar Adventure", "Return of the Hang Glider" and "Getting Teardrop to Talk", respectively. However, this does still harm him. Firey appears to have a very weak throwing arm, only being able to throw objects a few feet away from him before they drop straight down. However in "Getting Teardrop to Talk", he can throw Pin all the way to the basket. He would also do the same to Clock in "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset". Firey and Pencil often share the same scream, perhaps because they sound similar, and they both are voiced by Michael Huang. Firey appears in the most season 1 thumbnails, at 7 total. Firey consistently acts as a solid, such as being able to sit down, having a string tied around him, and being able to get slapped. Firey's book pose is based on a similar pose but with the BFDI/BFDIA limbs. In "Let's Raid The Warehouse", Firey reveals that he apparently has a sleep paralysis demon, which takes him to Yellow Face's Warehouse in his dreams. Firey makes the temperature on Earth 800 degrees warmer when he's sunk into the Sun, according to "A Taste of Space". This means that he (possibly, assuming that the Sun's temperature has a direct impact on Earth's temperature), makes the Sun 14.6 times hotter, assuming that it was around the average temperature on Earth at the time (59 degrees Fahrenheit). Firey currently holds the record for the most episode appearances at 61 (or 63 counting cameos). Out of the seasons that Firey competed in, "No More Snow!", "Today's Very Special Episode", and "Uprooting Everything" were the only episodes in which Firey doesn't appear, counting cameos. In one of the main channel's videos, Firey knows that gasoline makes him bigger, so either he or another contestant has tried to douse him off-screen.

It was confirmed during the 3:30 screening at Gerald W. Lynch Theater that Firey and Firey Jr. have no relations with each other at all despite both being similar in many ways.Firey is the first and currently last person to be killed by Bubble.Firey sticky frisbee Firey using his tounge to catch a frisbee. The same episode shows that his saliva is very sticky, as Tennis Ball struggled to remove the frisbee Firey used to throw at him off of his foot.
