✧Shinobu Kocho ✧╠You and Shinobu vs Douma!?╣

Shinobu's appearance

Full name, Shinobu Kocho. Shinobu is regarded as a beautiful, petite young woman with a small frame. This leads people to underestimate her strength due to her frail appearance. She has black hair with purple highlighted tips tied back into a "yakai-maki" bun using a butterfly-shaped pin. She has large eyes that lack pupils, only a haze of gradient purple, making her eyes appear similar to those of insects. Shinobu wears a dark purple standard Demon Slayer uniform with gold buttons, consisting of a dark-purple tinted straight-lined black jacket and matching colored tabi socks and hakama pants, tucked into white butterfly patterned Kyahan fading into pale turquoise then pink around her lower legs. Over her uniform, she wears a white haori that previously belonged to her older sister, which has a butterfly wing pattern that fades into a pale turquoise then pink color on the sleeves and hem which are cuffed with a black and white dotted trim. She is short for her age as she's only 4 feet 11 inches. She's 18 years old.

Shinobu's personality.

Shinobu's outwardly friendly and bright demeanor. Shinobu displays a bright, friendly and cheerful demeanor, always having an easygoing smile on her face regardless of the situation she is in. However, her outward behavior is shown very quickly to be a façade. Despite her bubbly demeanor, Shinobu has a strong sense of justice and is more than willing to brutally punish demons for bringing harm to humanity. Shinobu is very straightforward and always retains her calm and aloof personality in every situation. It is later revealed that her outwardly calm and tranquil disposition is worn as a mask, as Shinobu holds an intense hatred for demons due to the loss of her sister, Kanae Kocho, at a young age, along with the deaths of her parents, almost all of her Tsuguko, and the families of her apprentices at the Butterfly Mansion. Shinobu holds a strong resentment and hatred for Doma, due to him killing her older sister, Kanae. After the death of Kanae, however, Shinobu began to outwardly behave more like her sister and eventually developed her positive attitude and mannerisms to match while internally holding in her rage, which she later clarifies is fueled by her desire to continuously display the smile that her sister favored.

Shinobu's occupation.

Shinobu is the current Insect Hashira and the weakest of them all. She is also the sister of the former Flower Hashira, Kanae Kocho. She is the only swords-lady who is unable to cut off a demon's head, thus, uses a specific type of poison called "Wisteria Poison." Demons are known to despise the smell of Wisteria Flowers as it smells unpleasant to them. They also have a weakness to these flowers. Despite being the weakest and lacking the needed amount of psychical strength to kill a demon, she is considered as the most agile and intelligent Hashira. Her Nichirin blade is different from regular ones as it is light and specifically made for her petite body. The Nichirin blade has a slender, curved blade with a silver-colored edge and a black handle wrapped in a purple ribbon. The hilt of the sword is also decorated with a butterfly-shaped guard, which is a nod to Shinobu's love of butterflies.

Facts about Shinobu.

With Shinobu's overall size and weight, her body is the equivalent of 37 kilograms worth of poison, approximately 700 times more than the lethal amount needed to kill an average demon. Shinobu's entire plan revolved around sacrificing herself. She knows a demon like Upper Moon Two(Doma) cannot be killed by ordinary means. She also knows Doma prefers feasting on women. Shinobu hates any animal that has fur so she much prefers animals that doesn't have fur like fish. She is planning on sacrificing herself so Douma can devour her. Once she succeed in making Douma devour her, she believes the poison in her body will kill him.

Shinobu's Successors.

All of her successors have died except for one. And that is Kanao Tsuyuri. The girl she and both her sister saved and adopted. Kanao learnt Flower Breathing just by watching her sisters train. With Kanao learning Flower Breathing, by all means, if Shinobu were to die or retire, there will be no more Insect Hashiras. Kanao would have to take her place as the Flower Hashira instead. Kanao used to be an indecisive girl, always deciding by a coin that Kanae gave her. But after meeting with Tanjiro, she seems to be expressing herself and speaking her mind more often.

Shinobu's Breathing Style.

Insect Breathing : Shinobu's signature Breathing Style has four known forms; Butterfly Dance: Caprice, Dance of the Bee Sting: True Flutter, Dance of the Dragonfly: Compound Eye Hexagon, and Dance of the Centipede: Hundred-Legged Zigzag. First Form: Butterfly Dance: Caprice -The user leaps up, over, and behind the opponent before diving and stabbing them. This has a sort of lock on/auto aim when you use this move. Second Form: Dance of the Bee Sting: True Flutter -The user leaps into the air and charges towards the opponent, stinging them multiple times with their blade to inject poison in just seemingly one strike. Third Form: Dance of the Drangonfly: Compound Eye Hexagon -The user does a flurry of stabs at the opponent. This move is similar to Mist Breathing's Second Form and Explosive Flurry from the Shockwave Art. Fourth Form: Dance of the Centipede -The user disappears and becomes invisible, leaving a trail of butterflies in their path. This move is similar to Mist Breathing's Third Form. This move provides iframes for the user, you should always use iframes if you are stuck in an infinite combo or combos that deal lots of damage. The user cannot use moves while this move is active.

Douma <part 1>

Douma has a muscular, toned body which is easily seen by his skin-tight red turtleneck with blood dripping patterns. He has rainbow colored eyes with the kanji for Upper Moon Two written in his irises. His spiky hair is around shoulder length and is a silvery gold color. Douma is always smiling and acts very friendly, but this cheerful, caring nature is simply a facade. He states that he cares for his fellow Upper Moons and even cries when he learns that Akaza died, though, in fact, he doesn't feel anything for them. He's a two-faced sadist and doesn't care about anyone. He was also clinically apathetic and couldn't feel emotions. He just tries to hide it by acting friendly. His backstory isn't tragic like some other demons', either, as he only became a demon for fun. In combat, Douma usually incorporates his cryokinetic abilities with his Tessenjutsu, enhancing his fan attacks with ice and frost. Douma prefers to use his Blood Demon Art to create frost lotuses and crystal-like shards made of ice. Douma's Abilities Make Him Incredibly Tough to Fight.

Douma <Part 2>

Even when Doma absorbed Shinobu's body and ingested over 37 kilograms worth of poison, approximately 700 times more than the lethal amount needed to kill an average demon, it still took a considerable amount of time before it began to have any adverse effect on him. Shinobu tries four more times to poison him but Doma is now completely immune to her usual attacks, all the while taunting her for breathing in his frost and her deteriorating condition. So, usual attacks will no work and Shinobu needs to be devour by him for the sake of her plan to work. He is not in love with Shinobu but rather enjoys taunting her because he takes pleasure in human suffering. However, Douma was born to be a sociopath who showed or felt no emotions, and he only saw his followers as foolish and pitiful worms begging him for mercy. When Douma was a boy, his mother killed his father after finding out he had been cheating on her, before she took her own life.

Douma's Blood Demon Art <Part 1>

Cryokinesis: Douma's Blood Demon Art grants him extremely powerful cryokinesis. He can generate ice and frost from his flesh and blood and can spawn it anywhere in his vicinity, as well as manipulating it at will, allowing him to unleash incredibly potent ice techniques. His Blood Demon Art, Cryokinesis has a total of 9 attacks/Techniques. And each of his attack releases a special ice powder he created himself, thanks to his Blood Demon Art. Those ice powder, when inhaled, it would render the inhaler's capability of fighting. So, it is very important to NOT breathe while battling against him. The first technique is called "Frozen Lotuse." which is where Douma creates multiple ice lotuses with razor-sharp ice shards that increase the range of attack. The second one is "Baron Hainin Garden." which is a series of 8-10 consecutive fan slashes that creates gusts of razor-sharp ice shards that slice the target in pieces. The third is "Freezing Clouds." which is where Douma creates a large wave of freezing wind which he then scatters around with his fans that are so strong that the winds freeze anything they come into contact with. (Of course, there's a way to block his attacks.)

Douma's Blood Demon Art <Part 2>

The fourth is "Scattering Lotuses." which is a blizzard of ice shards in the form of lotuses that scatter apart as projectiles to shred an enemy's skin. "Cold White Princess" is the fifth one in line and it's an attack where Douma creates two female ice sculptures that blows freezing wind at the opponents, similar to the previous skill, "Freezing Clouds." but covers a larger area. Next we have the sixth one in line, which is "Wintry Icicles." which is where Douma forms numerous ice spears to impale his targets from up above with the icicles seemingly appearing out of nowhere. And then the seventh one "Lotus." is an attack where Douma creates ice vines that extend from his iced lotuses and these vines allow him to strike at a further distance away as opposed to his other lotuses. In eighth place we have "Crystalline Divine Child." which is where Douma creates extremely strong mini ice clones of himself that are said to be nearly as strong as him despite being so small. It is shown that he is capable of summoning 5 at once and operates as part of his own mind with the experiences and memories of events the clones receive coming back to him once they die or when Douma desummons them. And the last, final technique is "Rime Water Lily Bodhi Zavada." and consists of him summoning a giant ice statue to attack his targets with its ability to generate massive gusts of Douma's ice powder and freeze his opponents to death along with that he can also unleash other ice techniques that have no name or distinguishable unique ability to them but they seem to be just as a conjunction Douma's previous Blood Demon Art techniques.
