Horse

When Austin was 19 one of the family mares had given birth to a black and white foal. Austin instantly fell in love with it when he saw the little guy neigh and run around with his wobbly legs. When the foal was big enough to be able to sell Austin pleaded with his father to keep it. Reluctantly His father agreed and Austin excitedly named the horse Digger because whenever he saw him in the field he'd be digging into the hay and dirt with his hooves before running after being scolded not to. Since then Austin and Digger have been inseparable, Digger follows Austin around whenever he's doing farm work and after that's done they'll lay in the field taking a nap under the sun till Austin is called off for dinner.
