Persona Attributes

Personality

Vivian is best characterized by her shyness. Throughout the game, she is unable to cope with Beldam and his cruel nature, constantly taking the blame for things that are actually Beldam's fault. She develops in Chapter 4 when she decides to join Mario and leave her family after he shows her an act of kindness. At the Palace of Shadows, Vivian gains the confidence to fight Beldam as revenge for all the abuse she suffered. She is still loyal to Beldam, although mainly out of fear or disgust of being "punished" by her. Unlike her sisters, Vivian is really loving and kind. She questions whether it's wrong to take down Mario and his companions in Chapter 2, and she is a forgiving person and returns to her sisters in the epilogue (despite all the trouble Beldam caused). She seems to have a fondness for jewelry, because when she finds Flurrie's necklace, she quickly took it and got angry when Beldam took it from her. Because of how much Beldam calls her sisters "lovely", Vivian refers to her clan as the "Shadow Beauties" when she introduces them to him, much to Beldam's annoyance. of English

Genre

In the Japanese version of Paper Mario: The Millennial Door, Bibiana is described as a transgender girl, since while several characters such as Piruja or Goomarina describe her as a boy and use masculine pronouns to refer to her, Bibiana always uses feminine pronouns to refer to her. refer to herself. When the shadowy trio first encounters Mario, Bibiana introduces the group as "The Three Sisters", causing Piruja to become angry and remind Bibiana that she is actually a boy. When Goomarina uses Description in Bibiana, in the official Spanish translation she will say the following. "It's Bibiana! The smallest of the trio... Well... The smallest." Additionally, Bibiana's trading card from Super Paper Mario describes Bibiana with the term "Otoko no Ko", which is a term that can refer to both a boy who dresses and acts like a woman, and a transsexual woman. In the English version of Paper Mario: The Millennial Door, all references to Bibiana being transsexual are lost. In this version all the characters refer to her with feminine pronouns. In the rest of the video game's locations, however, Bibiana continues to be referred to as a transsexual character, including the Spanish version.
