History:

Jude is the 12-year-old son of Jake Harley and A. Claire, he lives with his 14-year-old older sister Joey Claire in the Harley Mansion in the city of Hauntswitch. Due to the death of his mother and the near abandonment of his father, the two live alone, cared for only by their nanny Roxy Lalonde.

Personality:

Jude is largely defined by his neurotic tendencies and his love for conspiracy theories, including extraterrestrials. He constantly investigates strange tabloids and keeps an eye on the activities of a Mysterious Cult in a nearby mansion. Although he is often too cautious, Jude proves to be reliable and is well-informed about strategies, security, and escape tactics. However, he is not above teasing and joking with his sister, and he is generally a silly and clumsy child. Jude is a big fan of The X-Files, preferring Mulder, but is willing to compromise with Scully for his sister. It seems he likes birds as he has three on his property.

Relations:

Joey Claire: Jude's strongest relationship is with his older sister. Jude often strives to annoy Joey and Joey often feels annoyed by Jude's interests and somewhat frustrated by her own self-assurance when she is not always able to trust herself. Despite this, Jude shows himself as a caring brother who constantly cares for his sister's safety. The two can get along and work together well enough in case of a crisis. Joey often interacts with Jude's online friends. Pa Harley: Not much has been said about Jude's relationship with his absent father, but it is implied that Jude's opinion of his father is as openly negative as Joey's, as he chooses to keep his last name as Harley despite Joey taking their mother's. Jude shares his father's interest in the strange and mysterious, although Jude's interests have a more theoretical inclination towards conspiracy. A. Claire: Jude's relationship with his deceased mother is not elaborated on, but he clearly misses her. The lack of photos of Jude and his mother indicates that she passed away during or shortly after Jude's birth. His nanny Roxy Lalonde: Not much has been said about the relationship between him and Joey's nanny, but it is implied that at least he considers her a rational and reliable adult, and capable in combat. The Lone Gunbirds: Jude has three trained pigeons, named Frohike, Langly, and Byers. He favors Frohike, likes Langly, and is disappointed by Byers, although he later discovers that Byers is incredibly lucky and really good at his job as a messenger pigeon. Other people: It has been mentioned that Jude has a circle of friends with whom he interacts online. Apparently, Joey also interacts with them occasionally.

Extra:

Jude seems to know something about the strange Cherubim Portal in the attic, as he correctly identifies it as a portal when he analyzes it with Joey and has its plans in his treehouse. He believes it has ties to the mysterious cult from which he has been collecting information, but otherwise does not know its functionality. Jude listens to the music of Enya, one of her cassette tapes is in the cassette player in the mansion's living room. The dangerous cult that is pursuing Jude seems to be real and can be seen through a hidden window in his treehouse.
