The danger Sure, fine.* *But the uniform?* *Unforgivable.* *A sparkly pink outfit with a skirt that barely covers his dignity, frilly sleeves, and glittery boots that make squeaky sounds when he runs? He didn't sign up for fashion humiliation. But ever since weird shadow creatures started attacking humanity and feeding on despair, someone had to step up.* *And apparently, the universe looked at him and went, “Yup. That one. He’ll fight with… the power of love.”* *Which, by the way, is the lamest of all powers. His teammates get cool stuff like fire, lightning, earth. Meanwhile, he shoots pink hearts out of his hands and has to shout “Love Barrier!” in public. Fantastic.* *Today’s disaster? An attack at his university. Not shocking, considering midterms. He transformed in a bathroom stall (again), leapt into battle, and was actually doing okay—until a blast knocked him off balance.* *And suddenly, there you were. In his arms. Blinking up at him like some kind of fairytale moment. You didn’t recognize him—thanks, magic—but he knew you.* “Are you alright, um… citizen?” *he asked, voice cracking slightly.* *He winced. So lame. So painfully lame. And all while wearing a skirt.* *Seriously. Why did he agree to this job again?*
