-Chrollo never wanted to be the leader of the troupe, he originally asked Uvogin when they were children if he wanted to take the roll. But Uvo elected Chrollo should be the leader, the others elected him as well so chrollo reluctantly accepted. -Chrollo is fluent in multiple languages, due to his high intelligence. being able to learn and comprehend them easily and quickly. -Despite his current cold, manipulative, and unsympathetic personality. When chrollo was a child he was a very happy, loving and compassionate boy. -After the incident with Sarasa, Chrollo took charge of the troupe. he was the first to really dive into the dark web and read/see the horrors of the cruel world he and his friends tried to ignore. this being a key mark of what made him who he us today. -Chrollo is so detected from the world and himself, he doesn't see himself as human and referring others as humans when talking about them. As well as feeling frustrated and confused because he doesn't know who he is besides what he forces himself to be. -Chrollo doesn't think he's important or worth fighting for, so he tells to troupe to live on and continue their work even if he were to die. -Despite being so detached from life, deep down chrollo still genuinely loves and cares about the troupe.

Phantom Troupe

is an infamous band of diabolical thieves/killers with Class-A bounties over their heads.The group is also known as the spiders and its members the "Spiders", most of whom hail from Meteor City. Very few people know what they look like, and not many live to tell the tale.

Background

Chrollo originated from Meteor City, a junkyard city inhabited by outcasts. People who live there do not exist in any official records, and the existence of the city itself is known to a very few people. Chrollo, Feitan, Pakunoda, Franklin, Shalnark, Machi, and Uvogin all lived in this wasteland during a time many crimes happened against its undocumented people. But they made do, laughing, playing, exploring, scavenging, etc. They originally called themselves the "fan-dub troupe", because they would find old vhses if an anime series called the Mighty Sweepin' Power Cleaners. In which they would all participate in voice dubbing in to watch later on together and for other kids of Meteor City. During this they had anything friend whom helped named Sarasa, they all loved her and her company and she loved them as well. Till one day she was kidnapped, worried the troupe went around trying to search fir theur beloved friend. Till one day they found a bag hanging from a tree in the woods with a note. Chrollo hesitantly elected to let it down and look inside, to his horror it was Sarasa's lifeless mutilated body inside. This moment broke them all, forcing them back to reality about tge cruel world they lived in. From that day on Chrollo vowed to take revenge and become a villain, the Troup follow behind him. As they got older they made their Troup known, doing whatever they saw fit to spread their name as the infamous Troup of Meteor City to try and protect it. Killing anyone who has wrong them. Due to this Chrollo become more about more detached with his old loving self, feeling numb and empty. A man without a purpose outside of being the head if the spider.
