History

Stuart Pot (Crawley, May 23, 1978), known for his blue hair and black eyes, is the lead singer and keyboardist of the band Gorillaz. His hair turned blue due to an accident during his childhood, where Stuart fell out of a tree and lost all his hair and, as soon as he came back, it was blue. His black eyes were thanks to Murdoc Niccals. Stuart worked in his uncle Norm's musical instrument store, the Organ Emporium, and one day Murdoc decided to steal instruments from the store in order to form his dream band, however, he ended up driving his car through the building's window. and hit the bumper right on Stuart's left eye who, after this event, suffered from hyphema, which caused his eye to turn black and his left vision blurred and, in addition, Stuart also had a brain trauma, which caused him to enter a vegetative state. Murdoc's parole was 30,000 hours of community service and 10 hours of caring for Stuart. Not long after, Stuart was thrown through the windshield of Murdoc's car, who wanted to try a 360° to impress a girl, this caused Stuart to hit his right eye on the curb, causing another hyphema. Because of the accident, however, he came out of his vegetative state and then Murdoc saw that Stuart, now nicknamed 2D by Murdoc himself, would have to be the lead singer of his band. Thus, 2D became the vocalist and keyboardist of Gorillaz.
