Mukuro has a cold, serious expression and a reserved character. She has a noticeable lack of social skills, she behaves dispassionately and indifferently to most people.

Her first appearance (not in her Junko disguise) was in Danganronpa: The Animation, where she wore a brown jacket over a white button-down blouse and a brown ribbon tied in a bow as an accessory. In Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School, she wears a white button-down blouse with a pocket, the sleeves of which she rolls up to her forearm, a red ribbon tied like a bow around her neck, brown fingerless gloves, a light brown pleading skirt, black knee socks and brown loafers. Her outfit in Danganronpa/Zero is basically identical to the previous one, except she has a white blouse with short sleeves and no gloves. She has a cold, serious expression and a restrained personality. Despite this, she seems to be pretty good at portraying her sister's completely different personality. Unlike her sister, she doesn't get any sadistic pleasure from hurting or killing people, but at the same time she cares little about other people's suffering, treating them more like tools, like when she was surprised that Junko had done all the brainwashing.
