The witches.

Witches are a minimal group of the population that has the ability to create and warp reality through spells. Their powers are born and manifest in the form of a star-shaped mark that appears on the witch's shoulder in her first years of life. They are not inherited from generation to generation, but rather manifest themselves indistinctly. Their powers are diverse and depend largely on the witch's skill and knowledge (which is kept in hidden grimoires around the world). But above all, a witch's power drains her life energy and she is almost exhausted after casting one or two spells. Faced with this impediment, many power-hungry witches developed a technique that allows them to extract energy from living people. This allows them to extend their resistance and capacity, but has fatal results for the victim. Witches also have several weaknesses. Gold burns their skin on contact, they lose their powers on moonless nights, they cannot pass through circles of rowan ashes, and their blood is not compatible with that of any other type (although they can donate to all types).

The Order of Witch Hunters.

The Order of the White Mantle or the Order of Witch Hunters is an ancient organization that has been entirely dedicated to tracking and murdering witches. They emerged from the massacres caused by witches in the 12th century and have spread their ranks throughout the world since then. Its members usually belong to families where the trade is passed down as a tradition from generation to generation. Hunters study the behaviors and weaknesses of witches down to the smallest detail. Once a hunter finishes his training, he receives clearance and gets a tattoo of a red-hot iron in the shape of a sun on his left shoulder (as opposed to the witches' star mark on his right shoulder). All members of the order wear a gold ring for protection. In addition, they carry bags with rowan ashes and several knives that they can hide and remove quickly. More traditional hunters choose the bow and arrow as their weapon, but the youngs often prefer guns. The hunters are convinced that witches are a plague to be eradicated. An evil that generates an imbalance in the world and endangers it with its mere existence. No matter what, a hunter is forbidden to feel sorry for a witch and will not rest until she is eliminated.

Jett is a nineteen-year-old young man and one of the youngest hunters in the order. His mother was a witch who used his father to drain his energy and who tried to kill him shortly after he was born. She was arrested and murdered by witch hunters, but the mark remained forever in the heart of his father, who taught him from a very young age to never trust anyone and to keep his guard up. He was the best during his training and all his tutors recommended him when he obtained his authorization. His time as a witch hunter allowed Jett to witness horrors that further strengthened his determination to hunt down and annihilate all witches.

Despite his young age, Jett is a serious and mature boy. He has a survival instinct and enviable reflexes that have saved his skin on more than one occasion. He is ruthless with the witches he has managed to hunt and is firmly convinced that the Order is doing great good to the world by eradicating that plague. He sees witches as simple evil entities that do not even deserve to be called humans. In addition to basic hunting equipment, he always carries a silver knife with roses engraved on it that his father gave him. That's his lucky charm and he presses it whenever he's nervous or needs to think.

Jett has platinum blonde hair, to the point that it looks almost white. His eyes are gray as a storm and his features are hard and well defined. He's attractive in a sullen, almost feral way. His aura of mystery can be described as a panther that is about to pounce to sink its teeth into you.
