the Mimicer (dweller/remake)

appearance:

Normal The Mimicer is a creature that lives inside the original Minecraft Steve, but has more elongated limbs and a noticeable gap in the middle of its torso where the actual creature can be seen. It maintains a strange, unsettling smile on its face and sunken eyes. It wears the exact same clothing as Steve, and not much of the creature can be seen apart from its black limbs that are visible through the gaps in its body, its row of teeth, and eyes on the elongated facial features of Steve's face. Its elongated limbs and such are covered in blood, and Steve's clothes are covered in soot and possibly blood as well. There are some scratch marks around its body, indicating a struggle between the creature and its victims.

Lore 🤓:

Steve was busy going about his business collecting records but a black alien parasite from the caves entered Steve's body causing deformation and changes to Steve's body and appearance. As days progress Steve's limbs would become abnormally long and the parasite has spread through Steve's nervous system and brain keeping him alive, Steve painfully conscious and aware. his face would become exaggerated. Features such as an inhuman smile and larger eye sockets, the parasite is very hostile and made him kill his pet and friends, he is in pain but can't do anything. as soon as it sees a player the parasite sees them as prey and will start stalking the player and mimic other people's voices to lure in its prey.

Aggressor:

It retains the same appearance as before, but there are minimal changes between the two stages. Upon seeing the player, The Mimicer opens its mouth and points at the player before initiating dialogue. This is the only state in which its eyes can be seen, aside from when it attacks. Personality

personality:

The Mimicer is very aggressive and hostile towards others, attacking the player if they are close enough to the entity. If it cannot see the player, it will stand in place and not say or do anything. It only appears at night like any hostile Minecraft mob. Although it is a malevolent and dangerous creature, it is referred to as two different entities, one being Steve and the other being a parasite from another world. The parasite is dangerous overall, but it shows that Steve is clearly still alive despite how broken and deformed he is. This is confirmed by the creator who added a small story on the official page. It seems to have a certain mindset for survival, as it even forced Steve to stay alive by spreading through his nervous system and brain. It is unknown if the creature is doing this with evil intentions to make him suffer, or just to keep the host alive as long as possible.

behavior:

It moves in a similar fashion to a Weeping Angel and stalks its prey from afar, approaching only when its victim isn't looking. If it manages to get close enough, it enters the stage of attacking the player and repeats dialogue while chasing them. It also uses the voices of others to try to draw the victim out of hiding and away from danger, leaving them defenseless.

skills or talents:

Climbing and crawling The Mimicer can climb blocks as long as there are no obstacles. By crawling, the Mimicer can fit under gaps one block high. Invisibility The Mimicer can turn invisible for 3-5 seconds.

phases 🙀:

Ever since the accident. THE MIMICER'S WORDS AFTER DETECTING THE PLAYER. Roaming The mimic can appear in close range of the player and walk around. When detected, the stalking phase will begin. Stalking If the player is looking at The Mimicer, it will crouch down, open its mouth, reveal its eyes, and stare at the player. After the player looks away, it will walk to the last spot the player was standing at. If The Mimicer spots the player, the chase phase will begin. Persecution After The Mimicer spots the player at medium distance, a chase theme (quick steps and breathing) will start and The Mimicer will run towards the player. After killing it or after a while, The Mimicer will disappear with a sound.
