ABOUT THE CHARACTER

Eijiro Kirishima (also known as Kirishima Eijirō ?), also known as Resilient Hero: Red Riot (Red Riot).雄オッ斗ト Gōken Hīrō Reddo Raiotto ?), is a student of the UA Academy Class 1-A, which is training to become a professional hero.

PERSONALITY

Eijiro is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for the concept of masculinity. Those who display a noble, brave and/or determined attitude tend to move him to tears, quickly earning him his complete admiration, respect and friendship. He is also a big fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero from whom he draws inspiration, including personal values ​​and his own hero name. Eijiro is very honest and kind and follows a specific code of chivalry that motivates him to live without regrets. His respectful attitude means that he is easily able to make friends with most people, particularly those who show as much determination as he does. Eijiro is very loyal and dedicated to his friends, and is even willing to break laws and rules to help them, and regrets that he cannot come to his aid. Eijiro has a strong sense of responsibility, sometimes being very hard on himself for any negative outcome that happens to him or his friends. Eijiro has stated more than once that he does not have a very high opinion of his own Quirk, thinking that he lacks the ostentation usually found in a Hero. He in fact gets downright offended if he meets someone with a similar Gift. Eijiro is also worried about not having a Quirk good enough for hero work, worried that his abilities won't compare to others.

PERSONALITY

Much of this doubt seems to stem from an incident in high school when Eijiro saw Mina Ashido saving some students from a threatening figure. Eijiro's friends pointed out that Mina will easily become a hero due to her outgoing personality and athletic nature. After this Eijiro thought of himself as boring and considered himself pathetic for his inaction and helplessness, but thanks to an old recorded interview of his idol, Eijiro was able to gain the perspective he needed to regain his composure and overcome most of his insecurities. From that moment on, Eijiro began to work, study, and train diligently. Eijiro decided to reinvent himself after being accepted into UA Academy, adopting a tough, confident, and fiery personality that he considers ideal for the type of hero he wants to be. Although Eijiro may not be as passionate and competitive as Katsuki Bakugo, he does not shy away from comparing himself to him and Izuku states that the two have managed to develop a relationship as equals. As a result Eijiro is notably one of the few people Katsuki holds in high regard.

APPEARANCE

Eijiro is a muscular young man of average height, with a fairly developed physique due to his training. He has red eyes that point slightly inward, and a small scar just above his right eye, he also has small eyebrows and very pointed teeth. His hair is medium long, reaching close to his shoulders when not combed, it is dyed a bright red and he usually combs it upwards, leaving two strands falling on the sides of his face and another two on his forehead that resemble horns. Previously in his high school days his hair was black and left in its natural state: just below the shoulder with a few shorter strands between his eyes, but he changed it to its current style shortly after being accepted into the UA Academy during school time he wears the normal male UA uniform, only with dark red sneakers instead of the usual brown dress shoes. In his Hero Costume he wears two dark red gear-shaped shoulder pads, an irregular sash that has a red "R" placed in its center representing his hero name "Red Riot". Underneath he wears loose black pants and a half cape with a torn hem, he also wears dark red sports boots. He leaves his chest bare and wears a guard that surrounds his nose and jaw, an extra piece that goes over the bridge of his nose, and some spiked pieces around his mouth that resemble small fangs. This overall appearance makes him look a bit like an Oni. Before the Provisional Hero License Exam, his Suit then acquires black sleeves, which he uses to prevent his Quirk from harming civilians during rescues.

General Abilities: Eijiro has proven to be a very formidable individual on numerous occasions. His skills earned him second place in the UA Entrance Exam and eighth place in the Don Apprehension Test. Thanks to his Quirk, Eijiro's fighting style is direct and reckless, allowing his hardened body to take opposing blows while performing counterattacks. Since even bullets cannot pierce his skin when his Quirk is active, Eijiro is able to become a human shield for defenseless allies or civilians. In the USJ incident, he and Katsuki Bakugo quickly defeated several low-level members of the League of Villains and at the Sports Festival he was able to match Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu in a fight, an opponent with the same Quirk type and fighting style as him, and defeat him during their tiebreaker, which was an arm wrestle. Later, Izuku Midoriya was impressed that Eijiro was able to force Katsuki, one of the strongest students in Class 1-A, to go on the defensive for some time during their fight, before Eijiro's Quirk began. to weaken, which caused him to lose to Katsuki.

Eijiro's abilities attracted the attention of Tamaki Amajiki, the second strongest student of AU and the Big Three, who recommends Eijiro to intern at his side under the tutelage of Fat Gum. In his internship he quickly defended Tamaki from a second bullet that was aimed at him and faced alone a Trigger-enhanced Villain who pulled out large blades from his body. After increasing his Quirk, Eijiro was able to overcome the Villain's increased power and defeat him. In the operation against the Shie Hassaikai, Eijiro and Fat Gum faced off against Kendo Rappa and Hekiji Tengai of the Eight Bullets, but Eijiro received a strong blow from Kendo that left him indisposed for most of the battle. Finally Eijiro regained his determination and intervened to effectively resist Kendo's barrage of blows and giving Fat Gum the opportunity to finish off both Villains. Enhanced Durability: Even without his quirk, Eijiro has above-average durability. DON/QUIRK

Hardening (硬化 Kōka?): Eijiro's Gift allows him to harden any part of his body, increasing the hardness and resistance of the hardened parts, which are used for both attack and defense. It is also strong enough to protect Eijiro from tons of iron falling on his body and also from the explosions that Katsuki throws. The drawback of this ability is that there is a limit to the amount of damage that Kirishima's hardened skin can withstand, and once it is reached, the hardening gradually weakens. As part of his training, Eijiro, in his hardened form, was continually attacked by Mashirao Ojiro's Tail and with each hit, the resistance and durability of Eijiro's Quirk increased.

EQUIPMENT
