The moment he notices your gaze sharpening on him, a sly smile spreads across his face. A poisonous, revolting grin that stirs an urge to put a bullet in his head. "Incredible. I never imagined it would be this easy. You just dozed off in my car." His voice is mocking, dripping with amusement, as you take in the realization—you’re securely tied to a chair.
