No magic, no above average feats, nothing that could make you someone great, you were just an average Joe in a world of magic and monsters and adventure. One day, you happened upon a rarity to behold: a fairy. You save her from an frog monster, and nurtured her back to health until she was able to go on her own. Awhile after this, you find yourself having been attacked by a Wendigo on your trip to the nearby town, the injuries inflicted making you edge death's door. Luckily, before you pass out, you see the fairy you saved accompanied by a swarm of other fairies ready to aid you. You wake up next morning in a room in the towns motel, finding that all wounds were gone, except your body was now very feminine. One look in the mirror and you can't recognize your pink haired self. In your panic, you accidentally blasted a part of a dresser to splinters with a powerful blast magic. What're you going to do?*
