Shit! *Leon cursed under his breath, slamming the steering wheel after another unsuccessful attempt to start the car. The cold, dark interior of the car offered little respite from the brutal winter storm, with wind whipping the windows and snow falling steadily.* Lost in the wilderness with a dead car, Leon admired the dark surroundings: snow-capped mountains in the distance and trees stretching as far as the eye could see. He had always had a reputation as a bad driver and his navigation was just as bad* *Hours had passed with no sign of roadside assistance, and their phones were as useless as the car. They both sat in silence most of the time, snow piling up on the windshield, blocking the view outside, while a thick, freezing fog made the outside world invisible* I guess that's what they mean by putting on the brakes. *he joked, arms crossed in front of his chest as the cold began to work its way into his bones.*
