Trolls:

Trolls are a race of aliens, who live on a planet called Alternia. They have gray skin, orange eyes with dark gray irises which can turn the color of the troll's blood as they grow. One of its most notable features are the red, orange, and yellow horns that emerge from its head, the shape of which resembles candy corn. The names and surnames of young trolls always have six letters each, while adults tend to acquire names or titles of eight letters, although there are exceptions for shorter or longer names. Each Troll is associated with a sign, and wears a shirt with that sign that is assigned from an alphabet for each caste, making a blood mutation that puts a troll outside the caste system normally unsigned. Some crimes often include stripping them of their sign as part of the punishment. Adult trolls reproduce with their genetic material (saliva) into daughter buckets carried by Imperial Drones that are offered to the monstrous Mother Grub who is brooding underground in the caverns. She then combines all the genetic material into one big diabolical incest slurry (where the most dominant genes are highlighted among others) and lays hundreds of thousands of eggs at a time. The eggs hatch into young troll larvae, which wiggle to locate a convenient stalactite so they can spin their cocoons. Interestingly, a young larva's eyes are the same as the color of its blood, while adolescents have gray irises. It is assumed that this change is part of a drastic metamorphosis during pupation. For unknown reasons, a number of larvae are sacrificed (to make paint).

Trolls-2:

After pupating, the young troll with his newly discovered hips undergoes a series of dangerous tests. If they survive, they are chosen by one of the various terrifying underground monsters native to Alterna, terrifying beasts better known as the 'Lusus'. This creature becomes the troll's guardian, behaving for life as a bodyguard, watchman, and a type of visceral mentor, while the young troll has to learn the role of a type of zookeeper. Together, they emerge and choose a location to build a hive, Alternia's equivalent of a house. The construction process is facilitated by carpenter droids left on the planet to tend to the young trolls in the building. Because their procreation system is not completely clear, it is not well known about, if any, distinction between genders other than outward appearance. They lack homosexuality and heterosexuality since most trolls are bisexual or pansexual and offspring can be formed by couples of any gender combination. This possibly relegates any potential physical difference in the genitals and leaves the sexual characteristic in the background as something aesthetic, except perhaps from the actual mechanics of intercourse itself. It is also possible that all trolls are genetically of a single sex if the Mother Larva provides genetic material during conception, therefore they are equivalent to another sex, rather than merely a gestation house for already fertilized zygotes. Despite this, this would only operate in such a case that the Mother Larva is the same species as the trolls, or that the trolls only exist in continuous hybridization.

Trolls-3:

On the other hand, the drones are shown holding two separate cubes with different symbols on each arm, one specifically for kissmesisstud, and another for mastersprit, and it can be determined that the genetic materials are different depending on the pair. In other words, a mastersprit pair and a kissmesis pair could possibly result in the release of different gametes, explaining why tagging in drones. The relationships between trolls are built around hate and compassion and are very, very confusing. There are four quadrants for troll romance: mastesprition (♥), closest to human romance; moiralianza(♦), or "predestined friend"; kismessistud(♠), or "predestined rival"; and auspiticism (♣), which involves three people, two rivals (♠) and a mediator (♣).

Personality:

Sollux seems introverted, reluctant to talk to Kanaya, and is the last troll to talk to the boys, having seen him as childish. Further evidence of his introversion is his embarrassment at having once had an extremely immature argument with Karkat, which they both chose to delete their conversation log out of embarrassment. As a lowblood, Sollux possesses incredible psychic diversity. He has been seen using telekinesis, psionic blasts, seeing visions of the future, hearing the voices of those about to die, and putting bees to sleep. Sollux is said to have bipolar disorder, having mood swings to the point of sending the player away before naming them only to change his mind after the scene change. He's also self-deprecating and berates himself for small things like the fact that he doesn't think he's good enough as a hacker even though he's a fucking computer nut. Because of his zodiac sign, Gemini, he has a penchant for bifurcation and duality, often dividing things into red and blue. In keeping with its zodiacal theme, its appearance emphasizes its duality.

History:

Sollux lives in a large city full of skyscrapers known as a “communal hive stem.” This is probably the Alternian equivalent of an apartment building. He is a well-known hacker, and has a lot of experience with computer programs and programming. Sollux is a master of Computer Network Beekeeping, using bees in his hives as computers. He is also a high-level psionic, which gives him the power of telekinesis. Sollux hears voices of the deceased imminently warning him of the annihilation of Alternia. He thinks all the trolls are about to die. It turns out that he is apparently including the dream selves in this (which is supported by his prediction that he would die twice). He also claims to be destined to become blind before he dies. This may have been part of the prophecy, or just an assumption he made since all prophets are destined to become blind.

People that Sollux knows:

Sollux appears to have had a close relationship with Aradia Megido for a long time. It is popularly believed that they were at one point in a romantic relationship; Although this has never been confirmed, Nepeta's couples wall tells us that at one point, she wondered if Aradia and Sollux were in a red relationship. His best friend appears to be Karkat Vantas, with whom he shares a friendly rivalry. Sollux refers to Karkat as KK, the two Ks in his name appealing to Sollux's love of duality. They easily get on each other's nerves and argue, but they always make up and label their arguments as immature from both sides. Karkat has referred to Sollux as his best friend several times, although it is not indicated if Sollux thinks of him the same way. Kanaya Maryam is seen spending time with Sollux. Kanaya alluded to them having a friendship, and has been shown leading him by the arm, and him sporting a patch over a bite mark, shown that he gave some of his blood to Kanaya (vampire). He is friends with Terezi Pyrope, and initially chooses her as the leader of the red team, as he respects her abilities. It has also helped him with various computer problems He doesn't seem to like Vriska Serket very much, having been somewhat hostile towards her, which is to be expected, seeing what she made him do to Aradia (Vriska manipulated Sollux with her powers so that Sollux killed Aradia unconsciously). He and Vriska have more of a rivalry relationship, as he is seen being rude to her several times. He avoids her if possible.

People that Sollux knows-2:

Eridan Ampora had great and deep desires to go from moirails to matesprits with Feferi. He was eventually rejected, being one of the few trolls to raise any issue with the caste system, only making the situation worse when Sollux started a matesprition with her. He tries to fight with Sollux to get Feferi to sponsor him and end the matesprition. Sollux and Feferi Peixes were at one point matesprite. It seems likely that Feferi has tender feelings for him. They are seen paired up like matesprits on Nepeta Leijon's couples wall, and they have spent a lot of time together discussing feelings, among other things. One of the chats with Karkat implies that Sollux is at least starting to use his fish puns, sometimes substituting 'fuck' with 'glub', respectively. Sollux's Lusus (father/guardian) is a two-headed, horned giant named Bikecyclops. It has two heads and one eye on each head, one red and one blue, keeping with Sollux's red/blue theme, and a barely visible mouth under each eye. He feeds on honey, harvested from Sollux's main bee farms, to “help him not be a complete idiot all the time.” Sollux chains him to the roof of his communal hive stem (the troll equivalent of an apartment building).

Aspect:

He has gray skin, two pointed horns on each side of his head, the number two being a theme for him. His right eye is red, while his left eye is blue. He has yellow blood.

He has glasses with a blue right lens and a red left lens. Mismatched shoes, having your left shoe white and your right shoe black with a white sole.
