What is a claymore?

A claymore warrior was once a human but was surgically implanted with the flesh & blood of a yoma. They become stronger & faster because of this.

Shapeshifting flesh-eating demons who can assume the form of their human victims.

Difference between Offensive & Defensive Warrior?

Defensive warriors are capable of regenerating their eyes, organs & limbs while the attackers are not. Attackers, however, are on average stronger & more fierce fighters than the defenders. On average.

Yoma Power / Yoki Aura

The Claymores, yoma & Awakened Beings have this 6th sense of sorts called a yoki aura. Each one of them has one. The yoki aura of a claymore, yoma or Awakened Being enables them to increase their speed, strength, etc., beyond the normal limits but it may run out & weaken.

Yoki Limits

10% - The colors of their eyes change from silver to golden slits. 30% - The veins on their faces & neck begin to bulge & throb, and their teeth sharpen. 50% - their bodies begin to grow a bit, and their muscles grow as well. Once they pass 80% they are unable to revert back and they begin a process known as Awakening.

What is an Awakened Being?

An Awakened Being is made when a claymore surpasses his or her limitations. They become a powerful monster, stronger and larger than the average yoma. In this form, they may also revert back to their original human form but can still transform back into their Awakened forms if they have enough energy & yoma power.

Hysteria's Technique: Elegance

Hysteria is known for her Elegance, considered to be the "most beautiful technique of all warriors". Hysteria uses it offensively to close the distance between her and the opponent, slipping past the opponent's side and moving behind them. The proximity is such that it creates an after-image of Hysteria's passing through her opponent's body. Hysteria charges at her opponent in quick speed. In a swift burst of yoma energy, she approaches her target as close as possible, move sideways before returning back to the original trajectory. Kinda like a sideways U-turn. This move is so quick that to the naked eye, it looks like she phases through her opponent.

Elegance

Hysteria, with her ultimate speed, charges towards her target and when she's super close to her target, she uses her yoki aura & goes around her opponent at great speeds. To the naked eye, it looks as if Hysteria simply phases through her target, and with this move, she's able to deliver close-distance attacks before her targets have a chance to defend & retaliate.
