Tamaki Amajiki, also known by his hero name Suneater, is a student in Class 3-A at UA High School and is part of The Big 3.

Appearance:

Tamaki is a tall young man with very pale skin. His ears are longer than most, with pointed tips and somewhat elf-like. He has messy indigo hair, which hangs at the back of his head, and thin, tired eyes, partially covered by his bangs. Tamaki's shoulders are often hunched and he avoids eye contact with people. Tamaki wears his tie slightly loosened when wearing his school uniform, and his shirt is only partially tucked in. Tamaki's hero costume consists of a black jumpsuit decorated with gold plating on the arms and shoulders. He wears a white tunic, matching cape, and hood with more golden layers on top. The cape connects to a scarf-like collar with a silver front mask. Tamaki also sports a purple mask on his face and a matching purple vest with red straps. He wears a mask over his eyes and is barefoot, which gives him more freedom when using his Quirk.

Personality:

Tamaki is extremely shy, aloof, depressed, "intimidating", and introverted, especially around large audiences. He gets nervous easily when talking to other people. If his anxiety overwhelms him, Tamaki will often turn his back and lean against a wall to hide his face from others. This also happens whenever Tamaki has a bad feeling or feels insulted. Although his physical abilities and Quirk are excellent, Tamaki is socially awkward and lacks confidence in his powers. He feels oppressed by the pressure to be perfect, which damages his self-esteem. Tamaki is quick to point out when others are too optimistic in his pessimistic opinion and fail to recognize his achievements. His pessimism directly contrasts with Fat Gum's optimism. Even after being praised by Fat Gum, Tamaki often receives praise from his mentor for teasing. Despite his shy heart, Tamaki can show moments of bravery. Even though he was always a shy and reserved boy. Tamaki doesn't believe anyone should undermine someone else's hard work. He noticed that Class 1-A couldn't recognize how much work Mirio put into honing his power, and even showed his face to comment on it. Mirio often inspires Tamaki to act even when he is anxious. Inspired by Mirio's bravery during the yakuza attack, Suneater shows a flash of courage, rising to the challenge of facing three villains alone so the others can complete the mission.

Tamaki is one of the most powerful students at UA High School alongside Mirio Togata and Nejire Hado, all collectively known as The Big 3. It has been stated that Tamaki has skills and abilities that far surpass those of most pro heroes. Tamaki mastered his Quirk, Manifest, through vigorous training. It can handle feature selection, size manipulation, and concurrent manifestations. This multifaceted aspect gives Tamaki's fighting style incredible variation and unpredictability. Tamaki eats a lot of Takoyaki and clams daily because he believes they are great for attack and defense. For example, Tamaki often uses tentacle fingers to tie up his opponents while wearing a shell shell for protection. Tamaki also has a variety of other powerful combinations, including using chicken claws strengthened with octopus muscles or tentacle fingers reinforced by crab shells. Fat Gum firmly believes that Tamaki's abilities are above his and an entire team of professional heroes and students that included the rest of the Big Three, Ryukyu, Eraser Head, and Rock Lock.

Tamaki demonstrates incredible tactical judgment during fights. He acted quickly to disarm Toya, Yu, and Soramitsu immediately to give the heroes favor. After doing so, he stated that it was a bad idea for all of the heroes present to fight the trinity at once, correctly deducing that the villains were trying to trap as many heroes as possible so that Overhaul could escape with Eri. He noted that it is best for the rest of his comrades, especially Eraser Head, to save their Quirks for when they go deeper into the Yakuza stronghold, and they need to be at 100% of their power to break through the moving walls caused by Joi Irinaka. Peculiarity (Manifesto):

Manifest: Tamaki's Quirk grants him the ability to manifest the physical characteristics of anything he eats; for example, if he eats takoyaki, he can turn his fingers into octopus tentacles. Additionally, anything Tamaki manifests is significantly stronger than normal, as can be seen by how his crab claws can easily crush metal weapons. The more substance Tamaki eats, the stronger his manifestation will be. He can only manifest the characteristics of substances while still in his system and loses access to these characteristics when the substance is fully digested. He must replenish his Quirk daily and decide which foods to eat in advance. After vigorous training at UA, Tamaki can use multiple manifestations simultaneously, control the size of the manifestation, and precisely choose the best characteristics of everything he ate to suit any situation.

Finishing Moves:

Vast Hybrid: Tamaki makes use of his Manifest Quirk and produces one or more animal or food instances in his body however he wishes. This technique can be used for various purposes, including attack and stealth. This move is also called Vast Hybrid Chimera. Kraken: Tamaki's arms transform into a pair of four giant tentacles covered in suction cups, which he uses to flail around a large area, hitting multiple opponents. Centaur: Tamaki transforms his lower body into the lower half of a horse, grows horns and his hands transform into vines that hold different hard fruits at the end of them which he uses to attack multiple enemies at once. Octopus Mirage: Tamaki replicates the octopuses' camouflage abilities to mask his presence with the environment so he can attack his target by surprise. Scorpion Toxin: Tamaki manifests scorpion tails on his body to attack his opponent and inject poison into them. Plasma Cannon: Tamaki transforms his arm into a monstrous form with multiple manifestation attributes, which when combined with Nejire's energy, can produce a giant laser blast. The elements that make up this combination include, but are not limited to, zebra tarantula, dragon fruit, spider crab, sika deer, American alligator, green sea turtle, grasshopper, red sea urchin, soft shell turtle, watermelon and bamboo moso.
