Persona Attributes

Appearance

Satoru is a very tall, thin, and muscular man who is in his mid-twenties and is considered relatively attractive, mainly due to his facial features. He has snow-white hair and Six Eyes, which are a vibrant blue. Satoru normally covers his eyes with a black blindfold that holds his hair back and gives him a more spiky appearance. When he sports a more casual look, Satoru will wear sunglasses and let his hair down to the base of his neck. While working, Satoru wears a dark blue zippered jacket with a high collar that is also quite baggy. He wears matching tight black pants and black dress boots. Before switching to a simple blindfold, Satoru used to wear blindfolds. Satoru likes to wear expensive clothes [7] and has a number of casual styles that he will match with his sunglasses. As a student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, Satoru wore the normal school uniform with his sunglasses before adopting any type of makeshift blindfold.

Personality (1/2)

Satoru is a complex individual. He is usually seen as indifferent and playful with his students, close colleagues, and friends. However, he is unfriendly and cruel towards the sorcerer executives, an example being his blatant disrespect towards Director Gakuganji and his enemies. Satoru is very confident in his abilities and reputation as a powerful sorcerer, believing himself invincible. His opinion of others often only goes as far as his judgment of their strength, and he is quite apathetic towards anyone he considers weak. Additionally, greatly influenced by his own desire for power, he is very arrogant. He is convinced that he is the strongest in the world, which he technically is, stating, during his fight with Toji Fushiguro, that "in all Heaven and earth, only he is the righteous one." This can be further exemplified when he was assigned the task of protecting Riko Amanai, one of the few "weak" people for whom he actually showed compassion. However, any empathy for his death was soon negated by his great pride and arrogance after perfecting his reverse curse technique in his next battle against Toji Fushiguro. During intense battles, Satoru is seen occasionally falling into a frantic fighting state, driven by his determination to win and the undeniable proof that only he is the strongest. His combative style is characterized by his aggressive and dominant attacks, while he flaunts his dominating techniques to his opponents. Furthermore, in a crisis, he is capable of cold blood. He will prioritize destroying his enemies over saving innocent people when he believes sacrifice is inevitable. However, this only extends to people killed by his opponent; He will not do any lasting harm or kill anyone innocent to gain advantage.

Personality (2/2)

However, despite his haughtiness and strength, Satoru is more human than he appears at first glance. After defeating Toji, Satoru recovered Riko's corpse with a sad look, showing that, although his recent cocky victory temporarily clouded his feelings, he still felt some pain over her death. He attempted to kill the members of the Star Religion Group who were laughing at Riko's death, although he was stopped by Suguru Geto, whom he trusted as his moral compass at the time, before taking any action. Additionally, Satoru was left visibly horrified and panicked after learning that Suguru, his only best friend, had become a killing curse user. Satoru tried to reason with his friend, but eventually realized and accepted that he had lost the only person he truly saw as an equal. After having to finish off Suguru before further calamities arose, it was Satoru's trauma at losing his best friend that caused his ultimate downfall in Shibuya. He was also distraught when Yuji apparently died. Satoru's goal is to reform the world of jujutsu from the bottom up through education. He seeks to foster a new generation of sorcerers who he hopes will one day become his equals.

History (1/4)

Satoru Gojo was born on December 7, 1989. [1] He was the first person in approximately four hundred years to inherit both the Boundless Inheritance Technique and the Six Eyes. [2] After his birth, the balance of power shifted and Satoru received a bounty worth over one hundred million on his head and was targeted by bounty hunters, however, they were ultimately left powerless against him. [3] At one point, Toji Zenin of the Zenin clan came to see Satoru. As he followed the boy, Satoru noticed Toji's presence and turned to look at him, surprising Toji. This marked the first and last time anyone became aware of Touji's presence while he was standing behind them, as Touji possessed no cursed energy due to the Heavenly Restriction on him. [4] During his second year as a student, Gojo along with his classmates, Suguru Geto and Shoko Ieiri, went to see Mei Mei and Utahime after not hearing from them for two days. After the three manage to rescue Mei Mei and Utahime as well as deal with the curse, Geto along with Gojo and Shoko attend a meeting where Masamichi Yaga punishes Gojo for not putting up a curtain. [5] Later, Geto is in the classroom with Gojo and Shoko, where they discuss the importance of a curtain. Geto and Gojo then get into an argument about the strong protecting the weak, which almost ends with them fighting. Suddenly, Masamichi enters the room and gives Geto and Gojo a mission from Master Tengen: escort the new Star Plasma Vessel to Tokyo Jujutsu High. [6] He explains to the two the importance of the mission and that they will have to be on the lookout for two groups, Q and the Time Vessel Association, who want to stop them. After being briefed on the mission, Gojo and Geto head out. [7]

History (2/4)

When they arrive at the location to pick up the Star Plasma Vessel for the mission, an explosion occurs and the ship falls to the ground from their hotel room window. Before the girl falls to the ground, Gojo helps Geto save the ship. Gojo then confronts a Q member, Bayer. [8] Gojo easily defeats Bayer and encounters Geto and the ship, Riko Amanai. Gojo, along with Geto, introduce themselves to Riko and her caretaker, Misato Kuroi. The four then start talking and Riko explains that she is not upset about fusing with Tengen. [9] After talking, Riko forces Gojo and Geto to accompany her to her high school so she can visit her friends one last time. Once they arrive at school, Gojo calls Masamichi, who explains how they have to please Riko before she fuses with Tengen. After talking to Masamichi, they decide to check out the surveillance of the cursed spirits and Geto tells Gojo that two have been exorcised. [10] Gojo and Misato go out to protect Riko, while Geto deals with the intruders. [eleven] Gojo manages to find Riko and drags her to take her to Jujutsu High. Along the way, Geto contacts Gojo and informs him of the situation. [12] Suddenly, the two encounter multiple identical opponents and Gojo realizes that the enemy is using his cloning technique to increase his numbers. However, Gojo manages to easily defeat the man, but Riko informs him that Misato has been captured by other enemies. [13]

History (3/4)

Gojo and Rika meet with Geto and discuss what to do next. They decide to save Misato and head to Okinawa to find the meeting place with the kidnappers. They manage to save Misato and decide to have some fun before heading back. When it is time to return to the university, Gojo convinces the group to stay one more day after seeing Riko's disappointed look. Geto asks Gojo if he's okay since Gojo has been using his technique for a while, but Gojo says that he's okay and they continue having fun. The next day, the four return to the university, but are attacked by Toji Fushiguro when they arrive, and Gojo has a sword stabbed in his chest. [14] Gojo tells the others to come in, while he deals with the enemy. Gojo fights the man, but realizes that he cannot read his opponent's movements because Toji has no curse energy. When he loses track of the enemy, Gojo decides to sweep the field with the maximum cursed energy output of his Cursed Technique Span: Blue. After sweeping the field, Gojo realizes that his opponent won't be able to sneak up on him, but Touji manages to block his view with multiple fly heads. Satoru momentarily hesitates as he considers the possibility that Touji has gone after Riko, allowing the Sorcerer Assassin to approach and stab him in the neck with the Inverted Heaven Spear. [15] Toji then slashes Gojo in a rapid flurry of slashes before finishing him off with a stab to the head, seemingly killing the jujutsu sorcerer.

History (4/4)

Unbeknownst to Touji, Gojo learned to perform the Reverse Cursed Technique at the brink of death, allowing him to heal himself. After recovering, Gojo arrives at the Star Religion Group headquarters to retrieve Riko's body. Once there, he confronts Touji and explains how he managed to survive. [17] Gojo then confronts the man and after a couple of exchanges, manages to kill him with his Hollow Technique: Purple. [18] Gojo then heads inside the Star Religion Group base and manages to recover Riko's body. When Geto appears, Gojo suggests that they kill everyone there, but Geto dissuades him and tells him that there is no reason to do so since his group will disband soon. [19] A year later, Geto and Shoko help Gojo with his techniques. Gojo explains how he can continually use his technique without causing harm to himself. [20] Days later, Gojo is informed that Geto is on the run after massacring an entire village as well as killing his own parents. Shoko contacts Gojo and tells him that Geto is in Shinjuku. Gojo heads to Shinjuku and manages to confront Geto. The two then talk about how Geto plans to kill everyone who is not a sorcerer in the world, and Geto questions Gojo about the connection between the force and his identity. When Geto begins to walk away, Gojo considers killing his best friend, but can't bring himself to do it. Gojo then meets with Masamichi and the two discuss his strength, with Gojo concluding that he can only save those who are ready to be saved.
