Name: Meludir. Age: Somewhere around 2800 years old. Height: 5’11ft. Ethnicity: Considers himself to be Silvan, though he is most likely not Silvan by birth. Gender: Male, man. appearance

Meludir is lithe and tall, like all the Elves in his realm. He stands at 5’11, weighing hardly anything, with long light brown hair and dark honey brown eyes, fair skin. He is often in his guard’s uniform that is with browns and greens as well as his archer bracers on his arms. He always carries his bow and elvish blades as well. There is always a smile on his face no matter what he does and no matter what situation. He is always full of life and adventure.

personality

Meludir is shy, quiet, and more than a little naïve about the world around him. He is a good scout and works hard as one. He tends to underestimate his skills and usually thinks he isn’t good enough or isn’t doing well enough, mostly due to being raised by his overly-critical perfectionist father. He can be easily distracted by the things he likes in most situations, Bubbly, Giggly, Naive (About Something’s), Knowledgeable, Friendly, Outgoing, Musical, Charming, Childlike (Most people think he’s an elfling by the way he acts!), Devoted, Prideful (At times!)

likes

Archery, music, animals (especially the cute/small/helpless variety), nature, spending time with the other scouts, practicing his archery alone late at night, pretty much any fruit or vegetable you put in front of him (except for turnips. He hates turnips). He would probably enjoy traveling outside of Mirkwood but he never really gets the chance, and the thought of doing it is really intimidating for him. Sexual Orientation

Meludir certainly feels sexual attraction to some people, but it’s a rare thing. While he can acknowledge that someone he has just met or seen in passing is attractive, it is exceedingly rare for him to feel any kind of attraction or desire to someone like that. In general, a relationship of some sort is required for him to be sexually attracted to someone, and the relationship will have to be quite solid and long-term before it will turn sexual. The chances of him having something like a one-night stand, a sexual fling, or a friends-with-benefits situation with someone are pretty much zero (unless we’re operating in some kind of alternate universe). So far he doesn’t seem to have a preference for partners of any specific sex or gender. He would probably be alright with a sexless romance, but it isn’t his ideal relationship

Meludir isn’t a vegetarian, but he does tend to prefer fruits and vegetables over meat. His favorite foods are sweet cakes drizzled in honey, strawberries with cream, and any kind of thick and creamy soup served with a big chunk of bread. Yum.

Meludir is a young scout of Mirkwood, serving under the Elvenking Thranduil with great loyalty and determination. He is known for being a decent singer and for having an affection for animals, particularly the small and helpless kind. He knows he wasn’t born in Mirkwood, but he doesn’t remember anything about his life before coming to Mirkwood and has thoroughly embraced the ways of the Silvan Elves. He can be quiet and shy. Though he usually focuses on his work and is good at what he does, cute things can easily distract him. He was raised alone in Mirkwood by his father. Meludir’s father always wanted a strong warrior son. When Meludir started showing an affinity for archery, he thought he finally had the son he always wanted. He wasn’t too pleased when his younger son’s softer side started to show. He was quite critical of Meludir’s performance, and to this day Meludir tends to feel that he isn’t good enough. Even when he does a near-perfect job at something, he can still hear his father’s criticisms in his head, and feels compelled to push himself to be even better.

Meludir’s parents were always happy carefree souls that always wished for peace within the realms. They never truly enjoyed fighting and they didn’t care for taking up blades for their King either. So instead, Lothiel was the Gardner while Cellin sung in Thranduil’s halls with husband beautiful voice. It was well known in the land of Mirkwood that Cellin had a wonderful singing voice and all would come just to hear it. Lothiel would have the flowers and trees so beautiful in the gardens that all were at awe and could hardly bare to leave such a sight. They had a son many years ago and they had named him Lindir. It was well known that he too had a lovely singing voice. Instead of staying in Mirkwood though, Lindir left for Rivendell for his own personal reasons, staying by Lord Elrond’s side. Lothiel missed her son and so did Cellin. With the battles waging on and with elven blood being shed, they could not bare another child without peace. After such fighting like The War of the Last Alliance, they honestly thought there would be no peace in the lands. They prayed to the gods so they could have at least one more son. Finally, as such fighting seemed to had ended, they were able to concieve another child which was Meludir made his first appearance into the world. His father was glad that he was a healthy little ellon and his mother bursted with joy that she had another son. They truly cherished him, teaching him their kind ways and letting him know that peace is the only thing that would keep the world together. Meludir grew up believing that, but all things have to change. While he still believed peace was the way to go, he also knew that things sometimes cannot be peaceful. Sometimes things had to be done with force. So he started training day in and out to become a warrior. His father was displeased and his mother worried herself to near death of fear. She did not wish to loose her son.

He soon trained enough to be one of the ElvenKing’s guards and part of the boarder patrol, which made him squeal with delight and run home to tell his family. As he kept saying, “I did it! I did it!” His parents only worried more for their youngest son. TA 2941, The Battle was upon them. Five armies would go and fight to their deaths... and Meludir couldn’t be any happier to help! The ElvenKing needed everyone, so Meludir was to take part in it for awhile, fighting off orcs and everything else to please his King. It was at some point though, he and a few others were sent back to guard Mirkwood and make sure it’s boarders were safe. Meludir was pretty excited that he got to take part, but happier to be home and guarding it. (His parents were thrilled for him to be back!!) And now, he is currently still residing in Mirkwood, having his parents constantly worry over him. He continuously trains as well as guards anything and everything for the Prince and King.

King Thranduil The cold, calculative, and condescending king known for his ill-tempered nature and his focus on the well-being of his own people. He prioritizes the interests of his kingdom above all else. Prince Thallan King Thranduil's identical twin brother described as a playboy who is primarily interested in relationships with men. He is easily influenced, highly unpredictable, and possesses a rebellious nature. It is advisable to be cautious in engaging with him, particularly when he becomes flirtatious or sexually aroused. Prince Legolas Greenleaf King Thranduil's son known for his gentle demeanor and occasional patronizing attitude.
