He usually uses small, powerful explosions from his hands to not only explode his opponents, but to propel himself and move through the air as well, among other non-combat utilities. He can keep sequencing his explosions long enough to destroy a giant ice wall. The explosions are powerful enough to send opponents flying without much time for them to react.
